"Overall ok. You get what you pay for. Goggles are not good for stalking. But for sitting and ambushing, work fine. I use them for spotting, then I use a night vision scope for the shot."

I'll admit...,October 7, 2008

"...I bought this product with the hope of using it in airsoft night games. It was obviously not made for such circumstances so when I realized the infrared light above my forehead was giving me away every game instead of giving other players away I realized how badly I had failed. If you're hunting animals...with like what seems to be practically a 7 foot range of vision, then this is the product for you. If you want distance or are trying to sneak/surprise people, then this is not. All the equipment and headset was fine and it all in all worked as described."

"Disappointed. Basically a night vision/IR monocular with a head strap. But for the price (cheap vs. real product) what did I expect?"

Not quite what it says,January 15, 2008
By BigBubbaManfrom Coppell, TX
"I purchased these goggles due to the other good recommendations I saw under the customer ratings for this unit. However, I did not get the same results. The most visibility I was lucky to get was 25 yards and the image was fuzzy and blurred. Yes, I focused it. Moonlight and starlight wasn’t a problem as there was enough light from those two sources that I could see fairly well short distances without a flashlight. The headgear was a pain to fit to your head and didn’t fit snug enough on my head to keep the goggles from moving up and down as I walked or even moved my head when stationary. This unit comes with an infrared light to see when there is less passive moonlight, however, it comes on and stays on when you turn the unit on and there doesn’t appear to be a switch to turn it off to save wear on the battery. Naturally, given what I have said, I would not recommend this product."

good starter product,November 6, 2007

"having never used a night vision scope, i find this unit very versatile and the head strap makes it a great value. As a generation one unit images are clear up to 75 yards, on completely dark nights i am amazed by the images provided, overall i think it is a keeper."
