agent pants,October 21, 2009
By ljsjrfrom metairie, la
"although i haven't had an oppurtunity to wear these pants they do appear to be well made and comfortable. the only complaint is the length. for what i consider to be relatively expensive pants i think that they should be offered in real sizes such as 40/32. that's 40" waist and 32" length."

Good value,February 3, 2009
By CStin2008from Raleigh, NC
"I wore them for the first time during a 2-day weekend trip to Snowshoe, WV. Having waterproof pants was critical, we had snow blowing at us all day long, I took a few spills, and it was pretty cold but I was comfortable the entire time. I think that the pants rise a little too high on my waist, but other than that they were great! It was definitely a good buy"

AWESOME pants,January 16, 2009
By Felicienfrom Chicago
"These are great!!! Aside from the fact that I got them within just 3 days after ordering (including a weekend) and just in time for back to back blizzards, these are amazing pants. They're lightweight and with long underwear, you'll be comfortable down to 0 F. probably even lower if you're active in them. The cuff on the leg could perhaps be a bit better designed (snugger), but nothing that warrants dropping a star. They might also benefit from suspenders, but then again, maybe not. The price would go up, and unless you've got a big waist, the pants are quite adjustable with waist tabs and they stay in place. Great seam construction. Probably one of Columbia's better products in recent years. Excellent price-to-value!"

Great pants,July 8, 2008
By TheMcHughfrom Richmond, Vt
"I looked at a lot of pants this winter and I tried these on in a store, kept shopping, and went back a few days later to get them and they were sold out. Cabela's had a great price and had them in stock. They're comfortable and warmer than I though- no need for a base layer for spring skiing. I live in Vermont and it gets cold on the mountains here, even in March. The fit is great. I'm a big guy and a pretty aggressive skier and the pants just feel great, loose in the lower leg and well fitted at the waist and hips. They have belt loops which I didn't realize and it's a huge plus. Comfortable when driving through powdery woods or drinking a beer afterward. So happy I bought em."

"These pants do the trick on the slopes. I'm a boarder and these pants kept me warm AND dry. They are also lightweight, unlike your typical bulky snowboarding pants, and well designed with plenty of zippered pockets"

Check the length!,March 10, 2008
By MISamfrom Midland, MI
"Great pants - comfortable with plenty of zipped pockets. They have just the right insulation to keep warm with out overheating during a hard day of skiing.
One caution, check the length. For those over 6'0", the inseam is a bit short. A tall version would have been ideal for me."

Columbia Free Agent pants,February 20, 2008

"has lots of pockets which I like. just two issues that I found for myself... if the temperature goes up, the pants do not breathe that well and the 2nd issue is that the length is fixed so have to adjust/shorten by yourself. otherwise I like these pants a lot"

"THE QUALITY OF THESE SKI PANTS IS EXCELLENT. MY HUSBAND IS AN ACTIVE BLACK DIAMOND SKIER/ RACER AND HAS FOUND THESE PANTS TO BE ROOMY WITH CONVENIENT POCKETS AND EASE OF USE. THEY ALSO HAVE A NICE COZY LINER THAT IS WARM ENOUGH WITHOUT THE USE OF LONG UNDERWEAR IF YOU SO CHOOSE."
