"I love this jacket. i just received it in the mail and tried it on. I loved the way it looked on me. I showed it to my mom and she is thinking about getting one too. I got the size medium cause that is what I usually wear. I would NO WAY need a size bigger. It fits perfectly. It is heavier than I thought it would be, but that is a good thing! "I ordered this jacket a size bigger than my usual based on other reviews. I probably could have got away with the smaller size, but since it's a jacket for cooler days, I can fit a sweater under it without worrying about it being too snug. So it's perfect for me, size wise. The construction is really good, with nice detailing, and there are plenty of pockets for odds and ends. I ordered the olive green, and it's dressy enough for wearing around town, and outdoorsy/practical enough to wear grouse hunting, with enough pocket room for extra shotgun shells! As I am an outfitter, it will even be suitable to meet hunting clients in. This jacket is going to get a lot of use!"

"I ordered a 2XL according to the measurement chart. The neck was way too big; the length of the coat was as expected, shoulders too big and arms just right with the cufs rolled to show the corduroy.. As it was very wrinkled, I washed and dried it as per instructions and removed it from the drier while still damp. The neck is now perfect, it shrunk a couple of inches in length and the sleeves are too short even with the cuffs rolled down!! And no way can I wear an Aran weight sweater under it. It's too much of a pain to send back to the US, so will try to find someone to buy a pre-shrunk barn coat from me! The foliage colour looks military!"

"This is a well-made coat at a decent price. Unfortunately I could not get one that fit me. I am a new shopper to Cabela's, so it took me a couple of tries to figure out that my accustomed XL is too wide in Cabela's clothing, like they are cut for ranch women more muscular than I am. So I tried the L and that was still wide at the shoulder. I suppose that this coat is cut for wearing a heavy sweater underneath, but i don't live in such a cold climate that i needed that."
