"I usually wear a 4 or 6, so I ordered a small. The jacket was way too big for me. If they had it in an XS, I would have reordered, because it is a nicely shaped jacket."

Aged denim Jacket and Vest,

"I recently purchased an aged denim jacket and matching vest. I have been a Cabela's customer for several years and this is the first purchase I have not been 100% pleased with. The buttons on both pieces had the appearance of an acid wash to the point they left white circles on the denim where folded. I washed both pieces and buffed the buttons and it helped some. The only reason I kept them will be to wear them when working outdoors. Had I known what they were like ahead of time I would not have bought them. I think this must have been a fluke that slipped by quality control. I do have other really nice denim jackets and vests (also purchased from Cabelas) that I wear to work and other places where casual dress is accepted. Despite the disappointment in my recent purchase I will remain a loyal Cabela's customer."

"I purchased this jacket hoping to get a lovely faded blue denim jacket with traditional styling except for being a bit longer and slightly fitted in the waist. The biggest disappointment was the color. It is one of those denims that is over dyed brown so it just looks filthy like it hasn't been washed in twenty years. It was no where near the faded blue shown in the picture. Neither did it seem to be any longer or shaped toward the waist."

"This jacket is not the color that was shown on-line. It also was supposed to be fitted and it is not. I was not very pleased with it and I am trying to sell it to someone else. If I can not sell it, I will be sending it back."

"Was not impressed with this jean jacket. I have been looking for one for a long time and thought I had found the perfect one. Guess I am too picky. The jacket was okay, but it just wasn't what I was looking for. A little bulky and had an odd fit. I sent it back along with another item and had no problems. Their customer service is really good."

"I like the fit of this jacket, but wish it weren't so "aged". I've washed it with jeans, but that didn't seem to change the yellow look. I would prefer that it be more blue, but will wear it and hope some of that yellow fades away with time (and more washings)."

Disappointing Denium Jacket,

"This jacket did not wash well. The bottom edge of jacket buckled up. The inside flap off the buttons and holes is very large and bothersome, just weird. The collars do not lay down well. You should not have to iron your denium jacket! I have only washed it once because I have not worn it but a couple times, maybe if I wash it more??? I wished I had saved my money and spent a little extra on a better denium jacket."

"It's a good lightweight, unlined denim jacket. Mine did not look as green as some customers claim - just nicely aged - so I suspect the results of the process vary widely from batch to batch.
Although the line is more feminine than the classic jean jackets from the 1970's, it is definitely not as fitted as pictured. Since I'm a curvy size 12, boxy doesn't flatter me. The large is perfect now that I've taken in the midriff with darts in the back that make mine fit and look like the jacket in the picture.
The jacket is priced so reasonably that altering it was a small concession to get what I really wanted- that's the only reason it didn't rate a full 5 stars."
