"The only flaw in an otherwise superb jacket are the wrist ends which are too loose and cannot be adjusted/tightened. I would prefer that they be constructed with a tighter fitting elastic which would seal the wrist and sleeve together. As it is they are too open and the hand can slip into the sleeve when that is not really desirable.
The jacket is well designed otherwise with good quality fleece, quite warm and soft enough to be very comfortable."

"Wind passes through this fleece fairly easily. For windy conditions, it is probably better suited as a thermal layer (as the ad suggests) under a windproof jacket/layer. The fleece will shed onto certain fabrics, but seems to shed less each time it is run through the washer. The collar will not stay down for me, which is bothersome. Good exterior pockets and zippers on each one. No interior pockets. At 6ft/185lbs and a sleeve length of 35in, the large-tall fits well. The draw cord locks required a good hard squeeze to activate them to work normally so try that first if you encounter that problem. At least one other reviewer mentioned this solution as well. Hope this helps."

"I use this jacket as a mid layer for days below 40 degrees, or by itself if I'm going to be active. I'm 6'4" and the length is great. I put both arms straight out in front of me *as far as I can* and the sleeves do not pull back. In fact, there is about an inch or two of sleeve left over, which is a great thing for us taller guys. The bottom of the jacket is long enough to cover half o' me bum even when I reach above my head. I'm also skinny, 170 lbs, and finding gear that doesn't make me look like I'm a kid in his Dad's coat is tough. I got the Medium Tall size, and the fit is dead perfect. Enough room to fit a heavy wool shirt underneath, but not baggy. The 300 weight fleece is very warm, especially if you put a water or wind proof layer over it. The wind does go though the fleece. I slept in this jacket on an Elk hunt when the temp dropped below what I was expecting, and it was soft and comfortable. The pockets are deep and the zipper is a heavy duty type that doesn't have to be perfectly straight to work. Really, I can't say anything bad about this jacket. Even though I bought it for hunting, I wear it all the time now. I should probably get another, I'd be ripped if anything happened to this one."

"My boyfriend is just over 6'5" 250lbs, and he's got the longest torso I've ever seen! We normally have to buy a 3X to be long enough, and then it's too big in the shoulders. The "long" size was perfect, we got the 2X and it all fits great! I was disappointed when I first ordered that I couldn't get him a Colombia or North Face like the rest of us, but after the Cabelas fleece came I was so glad I went ahead and ordered it."

"This is a very good fleece jacket and thankfully it comes in tall! One thing I found a bit confusing was that the compression pulls at the bottom of the jacket are delivered locked 'open'. Hard to explain, but they won't grip the stretch straps until you compress them - which then releases the compression."

"Nice Jacket and quite warm for a lightweight fleece. Fit and finish were good and the zipper works smoothly. I didn't give this a five only because I felt that the sizing may run a bit on the small side. I wear a 2XLT and this jacket fit, but just a bit tighter than most 2XLT's do. That may be a feature of the style of this jacket and admitedly it is a nit picky point. Otherwise it is of the standard quallity that I've come to appreciate from Cabela's. Overall a nice jacket."

"Of my 15 or so jackets and coats, this is my 3rd favorite. I love how thick and warm it is. I love to layer it with my Cabela's Woodsman down vest and on icefishing nights when the temp is well below zero, I';ll layer it under my Cabela's Alaskan Guide down coat. I'd give it 5 stars if the wind didn't pass thru it so easily. Other than that, It's great."
