Under Armour Beanie,

"The Under Armour HeatGear Outdoor Beanie is a great buy. It may seen to be a bit expensive but it is worth every penny. Having used it this past few frigid weeks here in Michigan it has kept my head and ears toasty warm. I would recommend it to anyone."

Disappointed,

"I own a number of Under Armour items. They are generally well made and function as intended. However, I was very disappointed with the Outdoor Beanie.
After just one day of deer hunting, the stitching which attaches the inner lining to the rest of the hat seperated in two places.
The universal size was small (I have an average sized head). The hat kept slipping up off my ears. It slipped completely off my head while I was field dressing my deer, landing in the gut pile. Wearing the blood stained hat made my hunting buddies think I had sustained a head injury.
Furthermore, the hat was only moderately warm in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania.
I am thankful Cabela's has a liberal return policy. My next hat will be designed and manufactured by Cabela's."

"The Beanie is a bit on the light side when it comes to warmth. I had to wear another stocking cap over the top hunting in December's cold temperatures. I did like the wicking capabilities, though."

Great hat,

"I bought this hat for a hunt in the mountains of PA because it can get awfully cold up there. The hat fits great and keeps my head warm, even in windy conditions. I also like the sweat wicking material on the inside of the hat that draws sweat off my head. Most other knit caps made my head itch but not this one, my head never felt itchy. Real nice hat."

"The Beanie is a decent cap, just not for me. I have a bigger head. The problem is that I really wear a hat to cover my ears, this hat isn't big enough to keep them covered. Otherwise it is a good hat, probably suited to someone with an average sized head."

Nice, but not for extreme cold,

"This is a good beanie but didn't quite cut it for high winds and extreme cold this hunting season (about 2 degF plus 40+ mph winds). My ears froze as the wind blew right through! It did well in the teens with slight wind though. Recommended for cold, but not extreme conditions."

"This is a very nice stocking cap. It is very similar to any other stocking cap, but has the UA heat gear fabric inside. This is what sets this cap apart from other stocking caps. It wicks sweat away from your skin. This keeps you warmer when your activity level slows down and also takes away that itchy feeling you get with regular stocking caps. If you like warmth AND comfort, this cap will deliver both!"

"This was a gift for my husband whose head is kind of big. He really likes that it stretches yet has the Under Armour lining in it so his head doesn't get all sweaty and itchy after wearing it for an extended period of time. He says it's the best!"
