"Very good product and very warm but sizes are very misleading. I ordered an extra large pair of bottoms (I would usually wear a large) and they were to short. Order 3 sizes bigger then you would normally order. I hate that there is such a lack of conformity with sizes from one product to the next."

"I purchased the set looking for a baselayer with warmth & scent control for winter archery season. I gotta say that this product provides a pretty good combination of both. They fit comfortably snug to your body, allowing for a full range of motion while layering. I'm 5'08" 180 and usually wear a large, but I sized up on both top & bottoms and they fit perfectly. They wick moisture, keep you dry, and have scent elimination, just like the "other brand". The only difference is cost in my opinion. Good Product..."

"I bought these because I was too cheap to spend the money on Under Armor. These seem to work well. I have not had much time to use them. I did not have a problem with the leg openings that others have commented on. Maybe they have fixed this. The biggest complaint is that they will drive you crazy because the stretch fit pull the hair on you leg, especially thighs. I have since received a pair of Under Armor and can say they do the same thing. The warth and wicking performance of the Cabela's is just as good if not better. The best aspect would be no bulk."

"I wrote a review for the matching mock turtleneck and the same goes for the bottoms. Warm, comfortable, and an added weapon to become sent free! I noticed a lot of guys had problems with sizing for the tops and bottoms and said they were too short. I am only 5' 7" so I did not have this problem. Probably a good ideal to order one size larger than you normally would if you are 6 ft or taller. They fit very snug so you will not have a problem with them being too baggy."

"I purchased the companion 980891 top and think it is just the best there is. I had to return the bottoms because the sizing just isn't right. I purchased 1 size larger as other reviewers had suggested, and the cuffs were not a problem for me. The legs billowed out and didn't touch me from ankles to hips, making them feel very cold. The compression fit seemed to be top to bottom as opposed to "around". They would hang on my hips and with any movement, the compression would pull them down. You can't be walking several miles with your underwear sliding down. I was disappointed I could not use this item, but maybe my body style is wrong-I need "tall and skinny". Maybe they will get the sizing right sometime, and I will try again."

"When they first arrived, I was surprised at how thin they are. After using them, I found out they are good if you are walking(good compression and very little bulk). Although, I have a disease that prevents me from walking very much. Therefore, I hunt from "shooting houses" and these bottoms do not keep the cold weather out if you are not walking.
If I was able to walk more, I would buy these bottoms. Although, I think the description needs to be better. I don't think they are polar-weight if one is not walking very much."
