"Gloves do what they are supposed to do: warm down to 0deg C with sleet, and keep the water out. Thanks to ridiculously expensive postage to NZ they lose a star."

Cabela's GORE-TEX® Thinsulate™ Gloves,February 9, 2009
By Fyrbossfrom Westchester County, NY
"We've had a colder than normal winter here in the northeast. As an Assisstant Fire Chief I've spent hours already with these glove on and am very satisfied with their performance. We cover a few major roadways and have had long duration operations and I have been extremely comfortable. At first I was concerned by the weight but immediately after using them for the first time I realized they were well designed and performed as advertised. Very happy..."

Best Gloves I Ever Owned, Period!!,February 9, 2009
By recki78from Erie, PA
"Unfortunately, I lost a pair of Cabelas Gore Tex Gloves I purchased three years ago. I purchased these gloves to replace them, and I found were quite warm in -20 F windchills, and even better, the dexterity of the design easily allows me to use my handle my house keys, drive, and do most other things that only light weight gloves that keep your hands cold in 30F to 40 F windchills will allow you to do.
These gloves, as with most Cabelas Outerware are quality items at a reasonable price. I just hope I do not loose these like the ones I needed to replace."

Great gloves!,January 8, 2009
By fotomanfrom Ontario, Canada
"Bought these for outdoor work (snow blowing, etc.) up here in The Great White North. Very waterproof, as Gore tex is, and fairly warm (after an hour of snow throwing, my finger tips are pretty cold). So far, they have held up well. Very flexible, easy to work in, sizing is good. If there was more insulation in the finger tips, I'ld give them 5 stars. Thanks, Cabela's!"

What is the purpose?,January 7, 2009
By Canoestfrom Richmond, VA
"I needed a good warm pair of gloves and these weren't it. Yes, they are dry. Possibly, I should have gotten the next size up to provide more air space inside. Then I found out I didn't need a pair of gloves after all as my son gave me a pair of rag-wool mittens. They were fantastic. My wife has the gloves now."

GTX Gloves,January 5, 2009
By JKirkfrom Marquette MI
"Overall, a warm, water proof glove. My only gripe is with the strap across the back. It is a little restrictive when you are putting the glove on and then is hard to tighten once the glove is on. The strap needs a re-design."

A failure from the first snowball!,December 30, 2008
By SnowRollerfrom Michigan
"I loved the out of the box fit and feel of these gloves. After my our second Michigan snowfall my little ones and I set out to roll our first snowman of 2008. I noticed a cool sensation after the first ball rolled and found the leather to be flaking and peeling apart just like a banana. I didn't hit any sharp object in the snow. Perhaps it was just poor leather. I still have great trust in Cabelas but I don't recommend these gloves."

"I bought the gloves for my husband for christmas, he loves them. He say's they keep his hands really warm and dry while shoveling the snow, he also likes how much they go up on his arms, keeping out any kind of snow or wettness from getting in. Well worth the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
