"I had the reversible one already and love it. They are very warm. I bought the Scent Lok one for deer hunting so I can use the first one for other stuff without having to wash it all of the time.
Only downside is the Scent Lok material does not stretch as easily as the fleece only one. It's not a big deal, they both fit, but the fleece one goes on a little easier."

Temperature was 29 degrees and a north wind at 30MPH.

"I really like this style of headcover, whats better is how it is cut. You can wear it several ways and dont have to be an engineer to get it the way you want it! The scentlok is always nice especially when it covers your mouth and head. I havent worn it in the field but have high expectations from this Great product especially for the sale price I was able to get it for!"

Balaclava Works Well,

"This is a great product to have when hunting in cold, windy conditions. Above 55 degrees it works too well and you'll find yourself sweating profusely in it. I hunt a fair amount in the desert and in the winter there is generally a 30-40 degree wind blowing across your face most mornings. Without this product the wind numbs my face and makes hunting much more difficult because I find it hard to concentrate when my face feels as though it might freeze off. Unexpectedly I've discovered that the carbon fiber embedded in scent-lok products works as a windblocker so your face will stay warm and wind free. I never hunt in the winter without carrying this item with me. This is also a good product for still hunting, since I find that being completely immobile necessitates me dressing more warmly than I would if I were stalking. The scent control abilities of Scent-Lok products are an added bonus, but ironically even if I didn't used other Scent-Lok products I think this works better than other non-Scent-Lok Balaclavas because of the added wind block that it provides. Hope this helps."
