Quiet, Warm and Waterproof,December 22, 2008
By mvoyagerfrom Pennsylvania
"An unqualified success, these bibs deliver what they promise.
With Thinsulate™ you are going to have the best and lightest cold protection available, but you have to remember for late fall hunting that layers keep you warm. Even if things start getting a bit bulky, you need long johns, two pairs of socks for your boots, a long sleeved undershirt, a flannel or other wool shirt, a sweater and gloves. With Gore-Tex®, you are going to stay dry, but it always makes sense to put something between your 'seat' and the ground to prevent loss of body heat. I didn't bother with the more expensive 'scent-lock' bibs on the market because I spray myself with No Scent before the hunt.
The bibs will catch thorns and burrs unfortunately, so in these areas you must take care and "become one with the underbrush." Move slowly and stealthily to avoid hookups or spooking your prey. The bibs are quiet and I don't know of anything else out there that does this as well. I am not going to stalk in synthetic bibs no matter what the camo pattern. And the Realtree® camo pattern was just fine in my Pennsylvania woods. Plus, I stayed warm. When you are finished hunting for the day, go over the bibs as you would any of your equipment and remove the burrs and other detritus. If they rip from thorns, perhaps they can be mended, but you should be moving slowly enough to catch the dang things before they can damage you bibs.
I loved the side and front snaps over the zippers. I prefer them to Velcro™ because they are quieter. However, the first bibs I brought were returned because one of the snaps broke by coming through the fabric, so check each snap and zipper before you buy and make sure you get your bibs a size or two larger to fit over your clothes. Happy hunting!"

"Great fit! Keeps you warm and dry through the worst conditions. The material is not for the rough stuff but does great for stand hunting. Very good product."

"They say they are 100% water proof, bull. The first time I used them they leaked. They are not what any one should buy. I hunt in the rain all the time and do not buy these if you would like to stay dry. Just sitting in the snow your butt gets wet.."

"Warm, comfortable and quiet in the field. A native of the Midwest, transplanted to Florida my blood has thinned a bit. These are a great pair of bibs for coming home (Midwest) for deer season."

Poor fabric for hunting,January 30, 2007
By LordQfrom South East Michigan
"While they are pretty warm, they are not something I would choose for weather much below freezing. Not quite that warm!
The worst part about them is the poor choice of exterior fabric. They tore on the 5th day of use."

Gore-tex bibs,November 25, 2006
By WDKNICKfrom Madison WI.
"Bibs are warm and comfortable, but the fabric does not hold up to tuff going in brush. All the seeds stick to the fabric and berry bushs will gradually rip open the fabric (1 season)."
