"I ordered this jacket and was told it could take up to three weeks to come to us but was pleasantly surprised when it was here in Canada in 10 days. The Jacket was what we were looking for. The only negative was that I wish it was a little longer. The larger sizes do not come in tall sizes"

Great Coat,

"I wore this coat during the hunting season last year in northern Wisconsin and it worked very well. I actually over layered underneath the first day and got too warm. By the second afternoon I was amazed with how little I had to wear under this thing. I hunt in an open stand on top of a ridge from 30 degrees to -20 wind chill and this held up great. Very comfortable as well."

"I bought this Parka approx 4or5 years ago In my opinion it is the best you can get for the price It's held up great and I've never been froze out with it on also the horizon camo helps to keep you concealed even though the coat is bright orange. Great Coat !!!!!!"

"have had this for 7 years now, very warm and not heavy or bulky, very quiet, my liner in the hood melted in the dryer last year though with about a 1 inch long and half inch wide melted spot from a really hot zipper when i washed with my bibs i am guessing..other than that no complaints, i can put a patch on that...it adds character :) no rips or tears on the outside, i think i should get many more years out of it, i however bought it when i just came out and paid double todays price...i will definately buy this again when it comes times to replace."

"I'm a big guy, so I need a parka that will fit me w/o constriction, and keep me warm even when wet. This parka is impressive. It's quiet and will keep me warm even when wet, what more could I ask for?

"Kepted me nice and toasty in temps ranging from 10 to 30. Bought my 12 yr old the parka and bibs. Caught him napping on a 30 degree morning - LOL. Great gear."

"I bought the blaze parka & bibs for my 12 year old, anyone with young hunters know that if a child gets cold or wet they get restless! And concealment goes out the window. The dry-plus parka&bib overalls kept him warm an dry,through bear and deer seasons which made my hunt great, and during our two day bear hunt, it snowed,then freezing rain, and then a flat rain! I found him napping twice for over twenty minutes at least each time! The Dry-Plus classic Blaze Parka & Bibs kept him warm an focused and very highly visable (blaze) to other hunters as he bagged his first deer. I am going to get a set of my own! A product you can count on!"

"I recently purchased Cabelas dry plus classic parka for the 2008 Minnesota deer hunt. I found the parka extremely comfortable, roomy, warm and most of all quite. The temperature during the hunting season was in the teens and very windy, I sat on my deer stand from 6am till 5pm most every day and stayed warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend this parka."

"Yes it does need a 2 way zipper and also needs the old style game pouch in the back like my old wool hunting coats have.
It is warm and wind proof and very comfortable to wear.It also is good to still hunt in but if you plan on doing alot of sitting i'd go with the other one thats heavier."

"The coat is screaming for a double zipper, with all its great features the only down side is the zipper. Lots of pockets, very warm, and water/wind protected. Let's put in a double zipper and Cabela's will have a perfect coat !"

"Great product. I did a lot of research before purchasing this coat. I Elk hunted at 10,000-11,000 feet this year and some temperatures were in single digits. Never ever felt any cold. The coat has plenty of storage pockets and they are well placed and secure. The venting also makes for no sweating when the temperatures rise. The parka keeps the wind from getting in also."

"I've searched quite awhile for a hunting parka because I was tired of freezing on the deer stand. I tried out this parka after extensive research for the first time on the opening weekend of MN deer season. In northern MN, the temps. were mid to low 20s with 15-25 mph winds and snow. I purposely chose one of my stands where I could give it a good test. It kept me dry and comfortable. I was able to endure sitting still on the stand for 4+ hours at a time while having perspired from walking to the stand with the parka off at the time. I could have sat longer but I like to move around on the ground some. While walking, I either take it off or keep it open. The parka is quiet enough for my liking. I bow hunt as well so I'm somewhat picky about silence. The hood is also a great feature. I'm 6'1" /220# and wear an XL Regular. The parka needed to be XXL regular to fit comfortably with layers. The XXL Classic Parka with the Scentlock option was too tight. XXL Versolon: too tight, XXL Ten mile Cloth/Gortex: too tight and heavy. The only thing different I'd like to see is a 2-way zipper so I really should rate it a 4.95. But I was warm enough just using a few of the storm flap buttons. Other that that, I'm very satisfied with the features, function, and price of the garment. I'm very serious about the Classic bibs next year. I hope this helps."
