"This holster is designed for X-Frame (extra large frame) revolvers, such as the S&W XVR .460 Magnum. Considering that the .460 XVR equipped with an 8.4" barrel weighs 72 oz. unloaded, you need a stout holster that distributes the weight appropriately. This holster is not designed to conceal, but can be worn under a large hunting shirt or jacket. More appropriately, it can be worn outside of your garments for easy access for hunting application. Typically, X-frame revolvers are not used for conceal self-protection, but rather to shoot bear or mid to large size game. Given the mass of X-frames or similar handguns such as a Ruger Super Redhawk, this holster distributes the weight of these large handguns better than anything else on the market. The high quality leatherwork and stitching is excellent, and for this price, it is an outstanding value. Regarding size, I wear a size 46 jacket and am broad-shouldered, and the holster adjustments have plenty of room to spare for a good fit. Again, for long-barreled hand-cannons like the S&W .460, this holster is the answer."

"Holsters clip that hook to your belt and extra ammo clip side are poor in design. they slip off when you lift your arms. suggestion would be velcro loops would be better. I have removed clips and added Velcro in their place."

"Item is not fat boy friendly. Weight is uneven and prints like a shoulder holster unless you wear a real baggy jacket and even then there is a bulge.
Hang two holsters and drop the magazine holder and you will print but it would be even. I would only recommend to someone with a 48 chest and a 28 waist to truly conceal, even then the weight difference would turn you off. Glad I got this dust collector on sale"
