"This is the second pair of the S.A.W. work boots.I wore the first ones for two years they are the first boots to last that long.I work in the fertlizer industry and have liquid fertlizer on them most every day and they cleanup very well. This is a very tough boot and are worth every penny."

Tough boot to destroy.,February 12, 2009

"It's been about 2 1/2 weeks since I first put on these boots, and so far they are a 4-star rated boot.
Pros: The boots definately seem to be able to with-stand a beating. I work as a delivery service where I load packages all day long, and walk 99% of my day in a repetative motion. At this point, the boots are very comfortable underneath my feet and feel as though they can last for several years, as long as I don't wear down the soles too quickly.
Cons: The boots took the entire 2 1/2 weeks to break-in, and are still slightly stiff. However, They are definately 100% better now than they were when I first put them on.
Aside from the break-in period and foot ache when you first put on the boots, and the subsequent days until they are completely broken in, the boots are very good and I can see myself purchasing another pair in the future."

"These are the most comfortable, driest boots I have ever used. Worth every cent. I work at a grain elevator where you stand on concrtete all day, walk through dusty grain, gravel parking areas and stumble through flooded tunnels. The break in period was more like 2-3 weeks but now they are great. I have worn them 20 hours straight with great comfort. My biggest draw to these boots were the gortex lining, it keeps your feet as dry as ruber boots with out all the sweating of ruber boots. I have been through 8 in of water with no wet socks. HIGHLY recommended as I use these reviews for evaluating my purchases."

"I had high hopes for these boots. I had to size up (width and foot size) to get them to fit better. Still, boots are very stiff. The tongue has a stitch or something about mid-way in the instep that really bit into my foot -- when I pulled the outer tongue from the inner liner apart, it somehow made this situation better. If I hadn't found this trick I was going to send them back. I also do not think that the soles are actually made with a dual density material, only two different colors that make it look like it is. I had to get these for work -- new requirements. I have always been getting hunting boots before these -- which fit better and are better for walking, but are hard to get with steel toes..."

"These are the worst boots that I have EVER bought! Yeah I did read some of the reviews and some did not like them but I thought some ppl just dont wear boots and are complaining. I wear boots every day, and have since the 1979. and when I say there the worst I mean it!! They hurt my feet, they hurt my legs. and at the end of a day I cant wait to get them off. They hurt so bad that just after 3 weeks of hoping they would get better I bought a diff pair to wear."

"I think the boots are probably built of good material and will last awhile but they are not comfortable. They are hard to break in and the steel toe is to narrow. They feel like you have a 10.5E boot and a 10.5D steel toe. It makes it hard to wear them all day at work. You folks have sold me a lot of good boots over the years but these are not so good."

"Great boots for the price, a little stiff at first but that is to be expected, break-in only took about a week though and now they are one of the most comfortable boots i have ever worn. My only complaint is that there seems to be extra material in the toe of the left boot that my toes rub against (not bad enough to give a blister just bad enough to annoy) most of the time i don't even notice it though if it wasn't for that i would rate them 5 stars."

"After prematurely wearing out several pairs of $200 CAT boots, I have found these boots to be stellar performers day after day. I was impressed by the relatively low weight of the boots and almost out-of the box they were extremely comfortable. They are indeed fully waterproof and good looking enough to wear out after a long day on the jobsite with little maintenance required. I would recommend these boots to anyone who prefers a full height safety toe work boot."
