"I just recently purchased Cabela's 10" Plain-Toe Roughneck S.A.W. Work Boots, I was very pleased at how comfortable they were the first time I wore them. The foot bed is great, I walk on concrete hanger floor 10-11 hrs a day, at the end of the day my feet feel as if I’ve wearing a pair of snickers. I plan on purchasing a insulated pair this fall for winter. Great job Cabela’s."

"These are the most comfortable boots I've ever had-I just ordered another pair so I'll have them this winter when the 2 year-old boots are "done in." I've been a forester in the Washington Cascades for 30 years. I used these boots laying out timber sales and cruising timber, sometimes in very difficult terrain and in bad weather. I probably have over 1,000 miles on this pair-snow miles, river fording miles, desert miles...you name it. The boots have held up as well as others I've had at twice the price. They stayed waterproof.
Both boots have broken soles under the balls of my feet, so I expect them to not hold water out next winter...hence the new pair. No complaints, though. Nothing comes close to the quality for the price."

"I have used Cabela's hiking boots for years as a everyday boot. and these are just as great if not better, very comfortable and same top notch quality. Will as always buy these again when the tread wears out. A thought since these boots last almost forever and the soles wear out before the boot even fully breaks in is maybe a free or low const replacement of the sole, such as danners. but over all great."

"I have been in consruction for over 25 years and wore Red wings for years.This Boot blows away anything I have ever worn for comfort and durability. If your packing loads on concrete or walking alot this boot is awsome.Needs some insulation if your going to work in snow or temps in the 20s or 30s, but still not bad if you have warm socks."

"I work on my feet 10-12 hours a day. I have had trouble finding a boot that was comfortable day in day out. These boots are a good value and took a minimal amout of time to break in. The touge of the boot did cause some discomfort at first but it is getting better. Walking on the concrete floors is now a breeze, almost feels like walking on foam rubber. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who is on there feet for extended periods of time."

"Alittle dissappointed with appearance, doesn't look anything like the website picture or catalog picture, I have only worn them a few times, not broke in yet, not that comfortable as of yet... Appear to be well made - I'll see how they hold up down the road 4-6 months. This is the second pair of boot I purchased in the last 10 months that didn't look like the pictures, needless to say, I sent the first pair back for a refund. "I am a "Consulting Forester" for private landowners and as such spend alot of time in the woods climbing hills, wading streams and walking through briar thickets. So far these boots have been great. A little tough to break in but after a couple of weeks they are very comfortable. Normally I wear out a pair of boots in 6-8 months. I have only had these about 3 weeks so I don't know how they will be longterm but for now they are great!"
