"Had bought these when they were on sale and feel that I got what I paid for. Not the best boots I've owned but good enough for chores requiring a good solid footbed and dry feet. I really like the aggressive soles on these. Had a problem with the tongue stabbing into my ankle...ouch, but that went away after 'break-in'. Also, walked through the sprinklers across a very wet lawn and these kept my feet nice and dry. Looking back, should have gotten the 10" version for added protection and less tongue-stabbing. Size runs normal unless you plan on wearing heavy socks. A decent general purpose work boot but certainly not the best."

"I have used Cabela's hiking boots for years as a everyday boot. and these are just as great if not better, very comfortable and same top notch quality. Will as always buy these again when the tread wears out. A thought since these boots last almost forever and the soles wear out before the boot even fully breaks in is maybe a free or low const replacement of the sole, such as danners. but over all great."

"I have owned these booots almost 2 years now and love them. I did not have much of a problem with break-in as some other reviews have said. They wear great and are very comfortable. The only problem I have had is they are a little hard to get on and off sometimes, but otherwise have kept my feet dry, I wear them all the time."

"I had high hopes for this boot, with all the great reviews. I could only stand wearing it for 2 days. Where the tongue attaches to the boot creates a hard spot that rubbed on the inside of my ankle bones. If this had not been an issue, I'm sure they would have been great. So far this is the only boot I've ever worn that's had this problem."

"I agree with the reviews preaching a long break in time. I have the waterproof model and have tested it well. No problem. Mud, water or concrete. I work in a greenhouse and walk on concrete for the better part of most days. Have tried a few boots, but really like this one. I am planning on buying the 7 inch for the summer months."

"It took a little break in time with the leather around the tongue but once it happened they feel great. It may be that this is the first time in quite a few years that I have worn a 7" instead of a 10". I have also been wearing your 10" Steel Toe S.A.W. at work which has been great and was the contributing factor in me buying the 7" to wear for casual. Keep up the great work."

"I've Worn these boot for about a month. I would agree with the long break in opinions. Now they are easy to get into each day and I work on concrete for 9-10 hours a day. Getting more and more comfortable each day. I have noticed less back and knee pain along with less fatige at the end of the day. Good for me so far."

"I have only wore these boots for 2 weeks, but I have definitely put them through the test. They are VERY comfortable, tough, and they breathe wonderful and also have great traction. A few long 100º + days proved that. Only thing I have not done with these boots is test them in water. I know you can't beat Gortex, but we will see. The only reason I did not give these boots a 5 star rating was because of how the tongue folds on each side of the boot, just above the ankle. I had some soreness for a couple of days but they are perfectly fine now. If these boots hold up and the price stays down they will definitely be the boots for me Thanks again Cabela's."

"I was worried at first as the hooks for the laces t the top were quite uncomfortable. I broke them in slowly and now they are comfortable and rugged. I work on rocky citrus and avocado ranches and am on and off tractors all day. My last boots were wolverine durashocks and the soles did not hold up."
