"If you are looking for a comfortable, lightweight jean, these can't be beat, and I own several pair. However, if you are looking for a heavyweight work jean, I would recomend the regular dungare or their double-front cotton duck dungaree."

"This past summer I worked on the bonfire crew at a week long music festival. I broght two pair of these with me. WOW. At the end of the week, they looked as good as they did when I started (after they were washed) and felt even better.

Though not advertised as fire resitant (and I don't say they are), the thick cotton didn't get a single singe hole from working the bonfires and they showed no wear from the abuse that goes along with any clothes worn in what could only be described as building a log cabin every night (these were big nightly fires).

I can't say the same for the levi's I brought with the frstival. I tore out the legs of a pair of those the first day on the job.

I have been replacing all of my jeans with carhart since that week. I suggest you do the same."
