"I can't really said this item is bad. I work with computer experts and we had problems installing the drivers. Once install, I believe they put so much security in the program that made hard to manuever around. It wasn't as detail as I would like it to be. It might be okay for someone else, but it didn't suit what I needed to do."

"I can only review the performance on the Harris Chain of Lakes in Lake County Florida. The format and uploading of the data is friendly. However the precise data needs more work. There are no bottom contour lines for either Lake Griffin or Lake Eustis. Some side coves are not even shown. And I have had several instances where my actual position has been more than 3 meters out of the waterway."

"I purchased this to enhance my maps for my Lowrance GPS/Sonar to locate fishing spots. My mistake! It is for land based travel and has no Lakemaps to speak of. A much better product is Garmin Minnesota Lakemaps or Lowrance Fishing HotSpots. The Garmin is far superior to anything out there for lakemaps but you have to have a Garmin Plotter for it to work. The map making part of the software is a total joke! Difficult to use and prone to problems associated with the proprietary card reader. Buy something useful instead!"

"This product is used with the Ifinder GPS, but is not user friendly, and has issues when trying to use more than a 512 MB SD card. The map program is nice, but takes a long time to load and finalize. Having various issues with SD card transfer and reading. This is very propriatary, and only lets you store infor on ..up to (5) SD or MMC cards. I have not contacted them yet to see what they will do about the problems I am having, however; I WILL try to return this and the Ifinder hunt GPS that I bought with this product and buy a Garmin. Much better...user friendly, and most come with more information loaded. This unit us outdated...can't handle much memory."
