"This saw is excellent! I have cut around 200 arrows with it and have not had to replace the blade yet. Adjustments are good and let you keep a consistent length the whole time. If you plan on making your own arrows this is a must."

"What a great saw! Performs very well with carbon and aluminum shafts. Very clean cuts. A quick debur on both the inner and outer diameter [I use an ammo "case prep" chamfer / debur tool] after cutting, a bit of "Goat Tuff" to secure the inserts and I'm off to the woods. Follow the instructions "closely" to attach the measuring tape and it stays put! Used on both my target and hunting arrows and cuts very clean & true. Highly recommend this saw. As good as any quality saw available [currently] on the market."

"3 week ago i got some new arrows from cabelas for my wife,i check the internet to see if my old pipe cutter could cut the arrows like my old aluminums arrows.The internet said to cut carbons with a high speed saw,hey i didnt know,my carbons i shot r full lengh and my wife arrows in the past were cut by a bow shop when we got the bow.when i called the bow shop to see what the price was to cut 6 arrows turned out to be 10.00 dollars, i was like it a good time to buy a saw with my wife shooting and 3 kids soon to start shooting a bow.This saw cuts carbons as fast as u can feed it,i took an old aluminum arrow out and cut it up,it was a bit slower,but still fast enough for anyone.A great must have."

"You have to tape the enclosed ruler on the saw frame yourself. I suppose this is a good thing since trusting someone at the factory to do it for you can be problematic. Saw has more than enough power to cut through X7, xx75 shafts and carbon shafts regardless of cutting technique used. Arrow spinner is a nice to have but needs to remove when you are using the saw. I get just as good results spinning arrows on my fingernails. Care should be taken regarding the powder generated from cutting. Stuff gets into everything. Best to have a dirt devil on hand."

"The Arrow Cut-Off saw arrived without all of its parts, and I was forced to call Cabela's. Cabela's quickly shipped another unit which was complete, and I received it two days later which salvaged my weekend plans to shoot some new arrows. Thanks to the good people at Cabela's Customer Service. Regarding the saw...its my first arrow saw, and I cannot imagine that another saw could be better. It cuts very well including Easton Full Metal Jacket arrows that have an aluminum skin with a composite liner. Lighly rolling the arrow as it cuts ensures what seems to be a perfect cut. An excellent product highly recommended."

"Got this saw 2 years ago from my wife and kids for Father's day. Have cut many dozen arrows with it since. I've made over a dozen homemade saws with various parts over the years, and would just give them away thinking my next one would be the perfect one. There is just no substitute for a machined commercially made saw.
Would have given it 5 stars if not for the extreme vibration that makes it walk a bit on the table, so it does need to be fastened down if possible. My tape was not off, but did come unstuck at one end after a while. A little instant glue solved that. Personally, I don't know why anyone would just start hacking away at an expensive arrow on a saw they've never used before without making sure an ADHESIVE ruler was not installed correctly at a factory, but you should nonetheless. Just common sense."

"everything works good,I would like to see a couple of changes though, get rid of some of the garbage around the saw blade and, change the nock holder to a smaller beveled hole that will allow the nock to spin better,and not jump up and around while spinning the arrow while cutting it,the speed is good but the torque of the motor should be better,the motor will drag down while cutting arrows but not to bad all in all a very good set up"

"I just cut my first dozen arrows with the Calela's 8000 rpm arrow saw.
Every arrow came out perfect to the length of 28 inches!
When using this arrow saw, as with any other brand, you have to measure the arrow's nock depth to where the bow string rests, then add that measurement to the desired setting on the arrow saw's scale.
This saw works great, I highly recommend it's purchase!
