Not perfect, but helpful,
August 3, 2009
By OXnHtown

"I found the stand a little hard to adjust the first time. I'm thinking it may become easier as I use it more often. I do agree with some of the other reviews I read in the fact that it does not stand up on any kind of a slanted surface. This was with a whitetail buck on the stand, it might be different with a shorter 3D target, I don't know. One way I found to help was by adding weight to the stand on the uphill side. The first time I simply used a small cooler full of water. I plan on using sand bags the next time. This will still keep me from having to drive stakes in the ground and allows me to easily move it."

"Base could stand to be a little wider for stability but not having to drive rods into the ground and trying to pull them back out is worth it. Makes targets portable and gives you many options of how to place them for shots."

Target Stand,
July 14, 2008
By VTHuntandSki

"I am very happy with this stand! It easily adjusts to fit virtually any 3-D target and it works well on level ground. I found that it does need to be in a somewhat level area or the target will easily tip over when shot at. Overall, this is a great product and is much better than having to drive rebar into the ground to set up your target. It also makes re-locating your target a simple process!"

two thumbs up,
October 15, 2007

"This target stand is well worth the money and is very convenient for the back yard shooter. After leaving my target outside all the time, constantly pounding pegs into the ground to move it around, and having it damaged by weather, neighbors pets, the kids playing or whatever, i was fed up. This stand lets me move my target around place to place for challenging shots, and also easily bring my target inside for storage, and even shooting in my basement, lol, without the worry of leaving pegs sticking out in the yard for the kids to get hurt on or have to mow around and hopefully not mow over them. It rocks slightly when shooting, inside or outside, but is not even close to falling over. It seems to have plenty of adjustment to fit various targets and I'm sure it will be used for years to come. I would definitely recommend this target stand to anybody using 3-d targets."

"The stand works great and I would have given it a 5 but the base pieces need to be a little longer. I have the GlenDel Buck target and it tends to rock after impact. Other than that I love it."

Grandstand Target Stand,

By captom

"This target stand was all I had hoped it would be. It holds my 3D deer target upright without any problems. It is easier to use than a couple pieces of rebar which were suppose to be in the box with the target. I highly recommend this to anyone that has a 3D target or is getting one. Enjoy it folks."

Way too tippy,
March 6, 2007
By ConstructionLawyer
from Mass
|
"I have placed my Cabelas Large 3d deer (which I love) on this stand and found it to be way too tippy. Even when the ground is almost perfectly flat, a solid hit at 25 yards will send the target rocking back and forth which frequently results in it tipping over (one of my carbon Easton ST arrows sticking out of the target snapped when the target tipped over on the side the arrow was sticking out). Very disappointed. So I drilled holes in the base plate and stuck huge spikes through the holes into the ground for stability. This cured the problem."

Grandstand Target Stand,

"I really like the Grandstand Target Stand due to its ease of use and its mobility. It allows me to move my GlenDel Buck from my backyard to my garage quickly and easily. This allows me to shoot my bow wherever and whenever I want. I no longer have to mess with rebar in the ground or trying to prop-up a target in my garage to use it."

Good Stand,

By Deer165

"I purchased this with the GlennDale Full Rut. This stand is an upgrade with what you get with the Full Rut. I used this stand in tall grass and it held the Full Rut in place without tipping over when my arrow hit the target. With this stand you can now use your 3d targets on hard level surfaces as well. Well worth the price."

"What a great idea! After months of inserting and removing metal bars into and from the ground along came the Field Logic Target Stand. I now can set up , relocate or remove my 3D target in a flash. It's a "must have" for the backyard 3D shooter."
