"These hooks are hard to find. The Cabela's store in Reno didn't have them, but they told me I could order them from the catalog. These are great egg hooks for large trout."

American made and a quality hook,August 13, 2008
By harvardfrom I live and fish in No. West Pa.
"I have chose the red hook to make my own worm harnesses and I have chosen Eagle Claw for I have used them for many years with out any complaints. I find the colored hooks have an advantage over black or silver, what it is I don't know but it works. maybe its the waters I fish in in No. West Pa. I also see the need to keep the art of making fishing gear in America important."

Eagle Claw Red Lazer Baitholder hooks,April 9, 2008
By BrookManfrom fishing Michigan one stream at a time
"I have used the Eagle Claw bait holder hooks for years in many trout streams. I thread the nightcrawler on the hook and the push it past the turned down eye. This helps to hold the nightcrawler on the hook properly allowing the tail section below the hook to flutter in the current, in a more natural presentation. Have the red color is a better attractant to my bait presentation. The lazer sharpening has also increased my success in hook ups, resulting in landing more fish."

Great hools,September 17, 2007
By huskyloverfrom Upstate central NY, near Syracuse
"These hooks are really sharp, the bright shiny red finish seems to act as an attractant. I have even used them to tie salmon flies for Kings and Cohos on the Salmon River in NY, and the red fits right in with the colorful flies. I will also try them on Steelhead flies in their non-baitholder form, I have a feeling they will work great!"
