"i fish for reds primarily. the first red i caught was 26" and wieghed 6 1/2 pounds. fish was hooked on the rear of a topwater walker. two of the three barbs were compromised. i have sent these back and ordered more expensive hooks. the size was a 4 which fits the 3/8 bomber walkers. also the mirrolure sinking twitchbaits."

"I use these hooks in size 10 to make up my own stinger hooks for walleye fishing on the Detroit River. These hooks work perfectly for the application I use them in. They are strong enough for walleye, but light enough to not drag down into more snags. Nice and sharp."

"These hooks have an awesome finish that make them go awesome with crank baits. These can be used to replace old dull hooks on your existing crank baits. I make my own crank baits and paint my own colors and designs so these hooks go great with my own designs. Next I am going to have to try the Krawfish colored ones. Give these a try."
