"Spend your money on something else.Have been bow hunting whitetail in ohio for 20 years,tried original muzzles early on in my hunting career,was not impressed.Had problems back then tuning and failure under heavy impact,switched to a better quality broadhead then.Saw the mx4's looked good,but just as bad if not worst than the originals.Very poor inconsistant flight,not worth the hassel to try and tune these when there are better broadheds that fly true out the package.

"These broadheads are very sharp, impressive looking, and bare the Muzzy name. If thats what your looking for you need to buy these broadheads. If your looking to actually hunt with these to some degree of accuracy then maybee you need to think twice. These broadheads made my arrows do some rather strange things and really had no accuracy even at 20 yards. Im moving on to Cabelas Mini Mag, I tried them and they work great!!!"

"Have tried many heads in the last 25 yrs. No luck at all with mechanical heads. Tried MX-4, and blown away. Great flying head, and after shooting two deer, the proof is in the pudding. They went 30 yards and 20 yards. Couldn't be moore pleased with a product. Good job Muzzy!"

"AWSOME!!! Loosed one of these at 20yrds on a doe, she took 5 steps and fell over right under my stand, no tracking required. Another doe that came in with her did not spook...she took a few steps and gave me a 22yrd shot and I slid one through her, she went about 80yrds and was done. First ever double and there was no quess work to the damage the Muzzy MX-4 did. Very happy Bow Hunter!!!"

"I have shot muzzy broadheads since the second year of my 10 year bowhunting career. The bone smashing ability of these heads is just as the muzzy claims, several complete pass throughs after smashing ribs and off side shoulders on elk. I switched to MX4s two years ago and have loved the same bone smashing performance.
THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS They are pretty finiky to tune. I have put some of these heads together and had them fly true while others you have to mess with to get them to fly good.
One trick I have found is that if one of the ridges is lined up with one of the blades and that blade is lined up with your cock vane then they fly really good. I know it is alot of work but worth it when you see your arrow fly like a dart.
Toughness. My brother shoots shuttle T's and hit one of my blades his blade peeled back like a opened can, while mine had a minor dent in the blade. then I returned the favor and shot one of his blades, once again his peeled and mine did bend but there was no harm to the ferrule or tip!"

"I have shoot plenty of hogs with these mx-4s and i have yet to have one drop in lett then ten years. I also shot one hog where it when and dubble lunged it at 30yds and the hit a smaller hog behind it and broke the second ones back two complete pass-throughs. THESE ARE GREAT"

"I smoked my first whitetail with the MX4 last week. 120lb doe at 25yds quartering away. I hit a little high and a little far back but got both lungs and blew through two ribs. Got a complete pass through. There was a decent blood trail, found her piled up 80 yds from POI. I shoot a Diamond Black Ice @ 65# draw wt."

"these are the last broadheads ill ever buy. i just switched from nap spitfire. i mad a bad shot on a deer this year with the mx-4. arrow went in right side (gut shot) out the belly on the left in through the left back leg then broke through the bone and passed all the way through the leg. that is impressive. i shoot a fred bear instinct and the shot was at 20 yards. i did give the deer over night to bed up. but i feel that if i had been using my old expandables i would have not gotton complete pass through, and probably never found the deer."

"i got these last year and they are the best for knock down power 100 grain is want i used and got a deer needless to say it didn'trun more then 50 yards from where i hit it.i cleaned the broadhead off and it was still as sharp as if it came out of the package.i highly recommend these to all bow hunter's and wil be using them myself from now on.when i first ordered these i was going to get something other then these but again as alway's a Cabela's employee told me that these would do a better job and he was right on the mney about that i've lost a few of them and im planing on orderig more keep a few on hand for spairs.thanks Cabela's for having such good employee's.they kow their stuff that's for sure.............and yes i'm going to tell my family and friends about these"

"These are the worst broadheads I have ever used!! I have been hunting with a bow for about 14 years. I shot a muley this year and only got about 7 inches of penetration. (I shoot a 65 pound bow) I though that it was because I hit a rib so I gave them another shot. What a bad idea. I went pig hunting and had a pig at 30 yards quartering away. First arrow hit the last rib deflecting it in to the guts and pushing guts out the other side. Had the same thing happen with the second shot. Quartering away hit 2 inches back from the first and pushed guts out the other side and did not cut them at all. The blades were right out of the package. I am switching to the magnus stinger broadhead if its good enuff for uncle teddy they must be a killer. just some fyi"
