"I bought a tru glo team extreme sight a few year ago.I like
sight but early morning and late evening it was hard to see
the pins till I got the sight light.It gave me more confedance
to make that last minute shoot."

Sight Light troubles,

"I purchased the Sight Light and attached it to my bow sight.
When I tried to run the light through its range of brightness, I found that the brightness control was not working properly. (going from fully bright, to slightly less bright, to off, to less bright still, to off, to fully bright)
I attempted this process several times and the results progressively worsened with each attenpt.
I sent it back to Cabelas and after about 3 weeks I received a replacement Sight Light. So far, this light seems to be working as expected"

"After reading some of the other reviews on how this thing doesn't know when it's on or off, I still figured I would give it a try. You would think quality control would get a clue and get this fixed after all this time. Oh it works ok, it just doesn't turn off and on very well. If your not real careful, it will be on the next day. I thought I could fiddle with it for awhile, take it apart and make it smoother, but no luck. No matter what I do, it still doesn't have any smoothness to it trying to get it to come on and turn off. I definitely would NOT recommend this to anybody unless they like throwing away batteries."

"The light doesn't have an on off, you have to screw it out enough for it to go off. I kept finding it turned on in my case so I kept screwing it out enough so it would stay off. I eventually lost it on a hunt when it unscrewed its self and fell off somewhere. Save your money up for a Spot Hog w/wrap like I did."

"This is one of the best pin lights that I have used. I like that the light has a reostat and the brightness is adjustable.
The batteries are replacable! I just installed three (Rayovac 312 I believe) hearing aid batteries in my light and it works like it did when it was new."

"I think the adjustable reostat needs a off and on switch, it is hard to make sure it is off. Sometimes it comes on when you think it is turned off (like in your bow case), there is no diffinate on or off position, you can keep on turning the knob. I do like the concept of being able to adjust the brightness, but it needs further development in my opinion."
