"This product worked fine in replacing sights on my bow and was easy to replace. The only thing I was unsure of was how to keep the fiber optic from sliding out again, so I used a match to heat the ends and there now is no way that product can slide out of the bow sight. Bryan"

Good quality but one surprise,September 12, 2007

"The general quality of these fibers seems to be very good. They will endure fairly extreme bending without breaking and I found light transmission to be excellent on all but the red fiber which I still found to be satisfactory. The one thing that surprised me is that there are no "nibs" on either end of the fibers to prevent pulling through the pin. I solved this issue by exposing one end of the fiber to a flame to slightly distort the end."

"TRUGLO REPLACEMENT FIBER OPTICS .029 ARE GREAT, SEEM TO BE BETTER THAN ORIGINAL (BRIGHTER). SIZE IS HARD TO FIND UNLESS BOUGHT FROM ORIGINAL MAKER. JUST ANOTHER ITEM CABELAS HAS IN STOCK THAT NO ONE ELSE CARRIES."
