"This scale is good for measuring in 1.0 increments. It will not measure at .1 or .5 increments as stated in on the box cover. Its really hard to measure out 6.5 grains of powder, it will either stay at 6 or jump to 7 grains of powder. It's not the scale that I would want if measuring gun powder is critical."

"A very handy instrument if you are wanting weight accuracy down to a single grain. The black lid pictured, is a tray for rolling parts which mates nicely with the scale's tray. I used a rat tail file and put indentations in the lid to keep my fully assembled arrows from rolling off. The scale is easy to calibrate because it comes with a precision weight (not pictured or mentioned in the description) of 100 grams. The backlighted display works good too. This is a great little scale for the money."

"I have found that practice tips are 100 or 125 grains but often times when you screw the broadhead on the arrows fly low, they often times weigh a bit more than you think. This little scale worked like a charm, I put my arrows together, can weigh them and be confident that they will go where I aim them. The scale is simple to use and read. The only thing I don't like is the plastic case that looks like aluminum in the catalog. Still a great product. I write each arrows weight on the fletching."

"Where was a scale like this when I started hand loading ammo, years ago? This flat out works! It is simple to use. Just follow the setup instructions, and you can super accurately fine tune your bow hunting arrow setup. The readings are reproduceable and extremely accurate. As with most precision instruments, it must be handled with care. However, you wouldn't mishandle a balance beam scale either. I will use this scale for handloading, as well as bow hunting purposes. This is a compact little gem!"
