"Perfect addition to the rest of the suit. The only reason that I didn't give this product a 5 is because it fits a little small, and I don't have large head 7 1/8 in hat size. So if you have a large head this hat probably won't work for you."

"I wanted the old brand that cabela's carried, but it had been discontinued. This new brand is just as good if not better! It's lighter weight than the rancho safari and one size fits all. I can put coldgear underneath for low temps or wear as is when the mercury rises. Construction is what you would expect from cabela's."

One size fits all ??,

"I must say that I like the hat very much, but it is not a one size fits all hat. I do recommend that if have an average size head then this is a great purchase, but if you have a large head then you are not going to want to take a chance on this hat. My problem is that when I move my head left or right the hat will spin on the top of my head therefore blocking your view."

"The Cabela's TCS Boonie Hood has been an excellent addition to my camo gear. Although it feels like a regular boonie hat, it really does an excellent job of breaking up the outline of my head and neck. Out of approximately 30 fox called this season, a couple have seen me when I moved for the shot (at 20 yards or less). Most never saw me. In a day where I think the camo market is saturated with fashion garments, this product was worth my money. I did trim the sides a little to increase my field of view and I don't think the addition of Scent-Lok was necessary (didn't hurt either). In my estimate, this hood will last 2-3 seasons of heavy use. My TCS pants (also a great product) take a lot of abuse from brush. They will probably only last a single season. Regardless, these TCS products are among the best camo on the market as far as concealment is concerned."

"I bought the whole set, jacket, facemask and hat even though the jacket has a hood. I prefer a hat to a hood as the hood seems to limit peripheral vision. The hat of course works well with the set although I did put a piece of wire in the front brim and trimmed the stuff hanging off the front so it won't get between me and the scope. The TCS is the best i've found for coyote hunting and believe me I've tried them all."

"I think this is an excellant hat I wear it with my Leafy Wear scentlock suit. I have been 20 yards from several turkeys and many deer. It's soft, quiet and comfortable for archery hunting."
