"The Snuffer SS is a perfect example of quality from a great company. I have used this head, with great results, with a 70 lb draw weigth. . My wife just used them out of a Mathews Mustang that draws 47 lbs. She got a complete pass-through and collected her first whitetail buck. Needless to say, this broadhead will cover many draw weigth ranges as well as many, if not all big game animals. Thank You again Magnus for such a great product and great service."

solid, sharp, dependable broadhead,

"I started using the snuffers about three years ago and have killed numerous deer with them. I have never made a recovery over 50 yards! The great thing about these heads is the capability and ease to resharpen them. Also, I never had to adjust a thing on my sight because they truly did fly exactly the same as my field points. I shoot a hoyt bow at 60 pound draw and they have withstood their performance at high speeds. The blood trail is massive, the penetration is remarkable, and the price is outstanding. BUY THIS BROADHEAD!!!"

Worth the money!,
August 4, 2009
By KyleL

"This is one tough broadhead. I bought 3 to start. Missed on a shot and curled the tip slightly. With a file the tip was restored and the head flies true as ever. Lost one so I thought I better start the season with 5 instead of 2 cause you just never know. These heads get as sharp as you are willing to make them. I use an Arkansas stone and spend time. Understand they do get dull and need touched up. Spend money on replacing blades or time creating an edge. You have to decide."

"good overall broadhead but very similar to g5 montec. I was testing them with my black widow recurve and could not get the consistency out of them that I expected. I returned these broadheads and bought the magnus snuffer rothhaar snuffer blades instead. It is a much better shootingbroadhead for traditional use."

The broadhead penetrated ribcage of 183 lb. boar bear, took out heart and both lungs exited the other side in an out through the opposite forearm in front of bone.
Excellent blood trail and 60 yd. kill.
Used a 57lb. wapiti recurve and easton 2213 shaft"

BEST BROADHEAD OUT,

By schreurs20

"You just can't beat these broadheads! They fly like field points straight out of the pack, could cut down a telephone pole straight out of the package, and will take the worst beating you can give it. I've seen these broadheads go through KEVLAR helmets and sharpin back to pop hair off your arm, and if by some act of GOD you damage one of these heads Magnus will replace it for FREE for LIFE. You just can't beat that folks."

Blew Right Thru!,
May 10, 2009
By UncleDewey
from N. E. Ohio

"This broadhead will make those deer cemetary dead! I nailed a large doe this year at the end of Jan. (160 lb) from about 30 yards. Double lunged her and then flew another 10 yards until it stuck in a sapling about a foot off the ground. She ran about 55 yds. and good blood trail. The broadhead had a little damage on the point, but cleaned right up. I'm shooting a 175# Horton and use Carbon Express Maxima Hunter bolts. I've tried Rage and Thunderheads and I prefer these to any so far."

Consistant groups,

By xstar30

"I bought 6 different brands of fixed blade broadheads to see which would be the most accurate with my bow (Bowtech Admiral 70lbs). Out of the 6 that I bought the Snuffer SS 125g by far had the best groups. They are not quite field tip accurate but they are pretty darn close. This is what I will be hunting with until I find something better, if I can."

"I in fact was a sceptic. But at 40 yard kill and a 35 yard kill of deer , these broad heads blew right through with deadly results. They fly true and with out plane. They were shot out of my cyclone cross bow and at 365 feet per second . The cross bow was rated at 350 . I cut my arrows by 2 1/2 inches to increase speed . I am sold just ordered 3 more packs to use with compound bow. Magnus you get a 10!"

Dull,

"Haven't shot these yet, but they were so dull out of the box I couldn't believe it. I generally shoot Hellrazor's and they are razor sharp from the onset. If these fly like my field points, it might be worth taking the time to sharpen them. Time will tell but so far-not so good."

best broadhead,
December 9, 2008
By greenmonster
|
"They don't make them any better, if you have bow hunted as long as i have and killed as many deer as I have you will agree with me shot placement is good but being able to get the pass through means a lot because of the blood trail, if the arrow does not pass through the blood trail often is not good. Also if the shot hits the shoulder bone on most ( 95% ) of the time you do not get the penetration you need especially on larger bucks ( with these broadheads no problems ). I've shot many different broadheads and thier is no other like this one. Remember always practice with your broadheads before going hunting and properly tune your bow like paper tune your bow that is the most important thing in arrow flight if the bow is not tuned no fixed blade broadhead is going to fly right. And if you shoot expandles good luck with penetration ( 50%) chance. So why take a 50% chance when you can have a 100% chance at a kill."

MAGNUS SNUFFER BROADHEAD,
September 28, 2008
By jojolance
from Rio, WI
|
"Snuffers really live up to their name. They put deer down in a quick hurry and that's what it's all about. I've been a bowhunter for 35 years and have used many styles of broadheads. These work the best for me. They make a triangular hole on contact and have an extremely high percentage of penetration and stopping power. Many of my deer run less than 50 yards. Be sure to spin test before using for the best accuracy."

Nothing like them,

"I went to a fixed blade a few years ago, because I was not satisfied with the performance of any of the mechanical heads. I purchased a package of the snuffer ss and could not be happier. They fly like darts and are devastating to deer. Blood trails are heavy and short. Excellent product, and with the replacement guarantee why buy anything else."

"I have shot two caribou with this broadhead and had complete pass through with both. No damage to either one. Easy to sharpen and become razor sharp in seconds. I would recommend this broadhead to anybody. You can't beat the lifetime warrenty. Send them back and they will be replaced with no questions asked. The best broadhead for the money."
