"Very good binoculars. I've had them out twice, once in 12 degrees with snow and they never did fog. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is their objective is small and makes light gathering at dusk/dawn a little tough. Otherwise wonderful binocs and I would buy them again."

"I have two pairs of these binoculars (one for me and one for my son). They are a great item to have in your daypack. The resolution is good and they are light so you can use them for extended time and not get tired. I always keep mine next to me in the stand so I can check out items of interest. You can't go wrong with these binoculars."

"These binoculars are possibly the worst I have ever owned including some cheaper Tascos. In weather below 50 deg, they fog up at the drop of a hat. I know another guy who has them and he agrees fully. Also they are horrible in low light conditions. They are useless after about thirty or forty-five minutes before dark. Going with Nikons next time."

"i purchased these a couple years ago and took them to colorado for an elk hunt. these were just what i was looking for. compact to fit in my jacket pocket. not to heavy so they won't way you down. i highly recommend this product to hikers, hunters, etc. THEY WON'T LET YOU DOWN!!!"

"I got these binos for x-mas last year and have only used them for small stuff till hunting season this year when I tested them to the max. They were great super clear from when first light came in the morning till the last light of the night. I could see everything, even with my red/green deficiency, everything was easily identifiable. Even my dad's $250 Nikon binos of the same size aren't as clear as these Leupold binos. They even lasted through a super heavy rain that caused me to end that day's hunt early, without extensive drying. The only down side to these is it's hard to focus with one finger (which is why it only got a 4)."

"I have had a pair of Wind River compact binoculars for over 5 years now and have never had any problems with them. They are a great size to fit into your day pack and not to cumbersome. The clearity is excellent even in low light conditions. I would recommend them to anyone. Overall good value and a nice set of compact binoculars."

"I bought a pair last winter and was extremely disappointed with them. Leopold went out to low bid on this item. I have tried them for many different uses and have given up. These binoculars suffer from many ailments, including: vignetting, difficult to focus, hard to hold in the right position up to the eyes, and slow to acquire the subject of interest. I use them only as a backup. They are best for use as a last resort only."

"These Leupold binoculars are perfect for the backpack archery hunter; they are easy to store and put away. Great waterproof binoculars, when mine were wet I did not have to change my grip at all with the black-rubber armor coating and they never felt like they were going to slip out of my hands. A very duarable pair of binocs for the price and the clarity is outstanding!"
