"In low light situations you will not be dissatisfied, very clear, exceptional clarity for glass at this price. Only complaint is the lens covers, they are cheap and have no connection to the binocular, I can guarantee I will lose them soon. The camo is nice if you like to bow hunt and the diopter settings are easy to set and lock in place. These are the best binoculars I have owned and will continue to purchas Leupold in the future."

"Very Pleased with clarity and crisp images. Have had only a short time but am very satisfied with it's performances on the 3-D range. Even in low light and dark shadows am able to pick up the vital kill zones for the points that count.Started doing scouting, and am impressed with ability to see detail at great distances. Have not used in heavy rainy or severe weather yet, but expect that also to be very well acceptable. Would recommend to any one who is serious about needing above quality in all areas in all conditions. The price is very reasonable, especially for the quality that you will receive. "I purchased the 10X42 cascades in 2005. The clarity is excellent, the focus adjustment is not touchy like some binoculars can be, but the down side is you will have to turn the focus wheel more turns to get proper focus. I have used these binos in snow, rain, and in 13 deg weather conditions without a problem. The only issue I have, is having to pull as I turn the eye cup on one of the binos to extend the cup. I have been pleased with 10X42's, that I purchased the 8X42 casades in 2006. If you purchase these binoculars you will not be disappointed."

"Crystal clear. Took them out ice fishing as their first day in the field recently. 15 degrees, 30 mph winds, and snowing...no fogging even when going from the heated ice shack to the blizzard outside. Easily see the flags 250 yds away sticking out of the snow about 6-8 inches, even through the heavy snow. I have been a Leupold guy for most of my hunting life and these did not dissapoint. What else is there to say...good stuff!"

"I bought these binoculars online relying on only the Leupold name (I own several of their scopes) and find this product better than advertised. Optics quality is in the $500 and up class, crisp and clear even in low light. Armoring is easy to grip and you can’t beat the lifetime warranty. The only drawback is the ridiculously cheap lens caps that I can guarantee will be lost after one hunting season. Bottom line: great value."

"After a month of studing the reviews of many different bios, I purchased these. I couldn't be happier with them. I compared them to two different sets owned by a couple of buddies. They were Nikons Monarchs and Ziess ($1600). In my opinion, they compare very well to both of these bios. Do yourself a favor and buy these, you won't be sorry! Pay anymore, and you will be wasting money on a name. These Leupolds are very clear, sharp, and very good at light gathering.
The first day I tried them it was snowing and foggy. They performed very well in those conditions!"

"My previous first choice for hunting binos were very heavy German made Steiners which I've had for several years. They are 10x50 Military version which are clear and nice to use but very heavy and now sit on the shelf.
I chose this Leupold product after looking at several others due to their light weight (!!!!!!) and superb clarity. My Leupolds are 8x42 and they are much better than the heavier German made product (10x50) plus, they are much, much lighter. If you hunt all day, walking multiple miles like I do, you will appreciate the compact size of these. Let me say this: In my opinion, nothing has been sacrificed with the size, clarity and power difference plus, you will save several hundred dollars with them. American made by a company who stands by their products, I applaud Leupold, own several of their products and look forward to long life from all of them.
As a Quality Manager on my professional life, I get excited about great products. Leupold has turned out another one to be excited about in this design!!"

"Im a big time hunter and optics are needed a lot. These Leupold Cascades are the clearest I ever seen beside Swasovski. They are one handed operation which is nice. They work well in low light conditions. The only problem I have is they fog up big time when you are stalking and wearing a facemask. No matter what weather we have, if you are wearing a facemask they will fog up and it is usually when you have a deer in front of you. They are much clearer then Nikon Monarchs, much clearer... I think they are a little pricey but the clearity is worth the money.."
