Nice Cot,November 15, 2009
By AzElkhunter69from Arizona
"I have slept on several cots and this is one of the best I have slept on. There are 2 things that set it apart from the others I have slept on....First, it is taller than most cots so it is easier to get in and out of....Second, it has individual legs instead of a straight bar for support, this keeps it from wobbling. If you put your own pad on it, it is as comfortable as a cot will get."

Good quality in a light package,October 27, 2009
By EMTJMDfrom Chapel Hill, NC
"Bought 8 of these for my rescue squad for use in a field treatment center/mass casualty scenario. They are high-quality and seem to hold up well to repeated use.
Pros: - good quality construction - stable even with heavy occupants, legs wont collapse - lightweight, fits in its own bag - actually comfortable
Cons: - end pieces are tough to get on the first few times you use it. It almost takes 2 people...one to hold the cot, the other to stretch the fabric and attach the end pieces. - they're a little short for people over 6'2". Would like to see a longer version of this type.
Overall, I'm very impressed with these cots. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the fact that it takes 2 people to set it up the first couple times you use it. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend these to campers, hunters, and anyone else who needs a light, sturdy cot."

Trekker Camp Cot---GREAT PURCHASE,October 26, 2009
By carebear136from Missouri
"I was very pleased with this cot. I ordered five of them for my family to take with us camping. They have worked great!
They are rated for up to 400 pounds. We are all pretty large in size, around 300 pounds and they have held up with no problems.
We are very satisfied. They are hard to get together, but seem to be well made."

Trekker Cot - Great Value,October 20, 2009
By Jack10from Atlanta
"I purchased two cots for camping. My purchase was influenced by the low price of the cots, but I was familiar with the pros and cons detailed in previous reviews. Overall, I am very satisfied with the cots. The size of the cots is perfectly fine for adult body sizes up to at least 6 feet. The width of the cot is suitable for camping, I wouldn't want anything wider, it would take up far too much space. As previous reviews had stated, it is a bit difficult to install the last cross brace when you are initially setting up the cots. However, once you set up the cot once or twice, the fabric stretches and it is very quick and easy to set up the cot. The key initially is to sit on the ground, push the aluminum leg with one foot, and slip the cross brace into place. This is suggested in the instructions."

Camp Cot,October 20, 2009
By BlueDog2from Boise, Idaho
"My wife and I bought the cots hoping to get a better night sleep. The cots were easy to set up, less the final step of securing to fabric to the cot. The cots were comfortable and worth the price."

Great cot,October 13, 2009
By DBinNCfrom Coastal NC
"Ordered 4 of these for family camping 2 years ago. Also used as spare beds for visiting kids. Loaned to friends as well. Every case was met with great compliments. Tight initially, but have broken in well. Goes great with a Cabelas cot pad. Well worth the $ and still going strong!"

Trekker Camp Cot,July 14, 2009
By Anonymousfrom St. Paul, MN
"This is a very well made cot, especially its shorter length which makes it easier to fit into a tent. I feel that the carrying case, though, could be improved by replacing it with a zipper case, as well as providing sturdier handles for the case. Overall, this cot is what I was looking for. It is also easy for my son to put up and take down."

Work Great,May 19, 2009
By mike6666666from BC, Canada
"These cots are built well and can take the weight. I currently use two of them in the spare bedroom to gat the matress up off the floor. They are a little tight to get together but that tightness is what keeps them firm while they are together. They take 30 sec. to build and 15 to take apart. The carrying bags are well built and over sized for ease of use.
I will never sleep on the ground while camping again."

Favorite cot,April 11, 2009
By tntcmprfrom Georgia
"We have purchased 4 different fully foldable cots in the past vew months, preparing to camp more primitively than ever before. We have slept on them all to "break them in," and this Trekker cot is definitely the easiest to set up and the most comfortable. Wish the other three were Trekkers, too."

Too Narrow!!,March 4, 2009
By CampingKittenfrom Wheeling, WV
"Unless you sleep like a mummy, this cot is terribly uncomfortable! It absolutely has no "give" and is so narrow that if you roll over the bars dig into your legs and arms. I woke up every hour through the two nights that I slept on this cot, even with a sleeping pad and cushy sleeping bag. I am a smaller female about 5'3" tall. I would only recommend this cot to you if your name happens to be "King Tut"!"

Great Cot,February 25, 2009
By HuntingInHoosierlandfrom IN
"Product overall is very good. The cot is light and quick to assemble. Once assembled the nylon material is real tight and keeps great shape. I also use a therma rest on top to add a little extra comfort.
One little challenge is the tight fit requires a pole or pry bar to get the final slot in place. Not a huge deal but plan ahead and bring one to avoid some frustration in the field.
Would recommend the cot to anyone, especially if you can get one when Cabela's has them on sale for about $25 off retail price."

trekker camp cot,August 22, 2008
By syca
"It is a very strong durable and comfortable bed. It is quick to unfold and also very easy to put it back in the bag. The only problem and it can be a big one if you are a woman and alone is that you cannot attach the last end crossbar to the cot. It is too hard to do the first time. I hope the next times will be easier."
