"I got hooked on fishing these things texas rigged about 4 years ago. No matter what the condition, it always puts bass in the boat. I have tried other brand's models, but none seem to compare. "On the days that the bass are not in to taking my wacky rigged senko, I turn to this yamamoto double tail hula grub. And it works wonders. Most of my hits are on the fall. The only draw back is when bluegills happen to get to the grub before the bass do, they tend to nibble off the grub's tail. So the grub comes back with missing tails and needs to be replaced with a new one. Other than that, I really love these baits. They do a great job catching me bass when my other lures seem to not be working."

"Well this bait took me awhile to get used to. Like previous writers this bait is tough to rig. A 2# hook is just a bit too big to rig it texas. I finally settled with using a 2# gamakaktsu hook with a wire guard. The wire guard lets me not have to tuck the hook in like in texas rig. These baits are great for flippin and working slow.. I have seen them as a trailer too. You can also use them with a jig head on it with wire guard. I like weightless most of the time."

"this bait is confusing...its hard to rig and its hard for the hook to set, but the bass just love it!!i fish it in the evening because thats when they really like it, the instant it hits the water they hit it, but the hook wont set, i tried repositioning the hook, and even letting the fish eat it a little longer but it still wont set the hook ..its a good reaction bait though, has a great falling action"

"amazing grub, used it in a small creek in ohio to see the action and BAM a 5 pound smallie hits! suprised me!! didn't even knwo there were any bass in there let alone 5 pounders! used the in the alleghany resevior and caught walleye like crazy and smallies, man i couldn't keep them off of the hook! i've even caught some 20"-30" muskies on this grub. hands down the best grub i've ever used! i wont recomened though, i'll force them to buy it its that good!"
