"Scope mounted on new Rem 870. Scope mounted and leveled and was maxed out on elavation still 2'' low @ 50 yards. Replaced scope mounts with new high profile and showed no improvment."

"I had the scope mounted on a Remington 11-87, cantilever slug barrel by the Cabela's Dundee store. I also had Cabela's bore site the weapon, all this done within an hour. I shoot the Hornady SST slugs with great success and with this particular Leupold scope it makes the combination very deadly for Michigan White Tail deer. On opening day of gun season I harvested an outstanding nine point buck at an unbelievable 153 yards. I love the heavy to lite duplex cross hairs, it makes aquisition nearly flawless. As usual, Leupold and Cabela's come through when I needed the shot to count. GREAT PRODUCT and GREAT JOB CABELA'S!"

"Bought the rifleman over the nikon because I liked the thick cross hairs. After I thought I was getting it zeroed in the next droup was 13 inches low and so i started to try to get it zeroed again. The groups were all over the place. Next day put on a nikon and with in 10 shots I was hitting bulls eyes up to 150 yards same ammo as with the rifleman. I could only figure something was not right with the scope."

"bought a brand new remington 870 cantilever barrel. bought this leupold and its flawless. Boresighted it prior to hitting the range at 100 yards. got to the range and put 3 hornady sst in a 2 inch group just right. clicked it 2 clicks left and it was money all day!! great scope its a leupold of course. lifetime warranty is always an added bonus. Deff. gonna buy another for my mossburg 500. cant wait till deer season to field test it."

"I purchased the Leupold Rifleman Shotgun Scope last summer for my new Browning Gold 20 ga. slug gun. My buddy in Alaska recommended it for tough and foul weather hunting conditions. It has a very clear sight picture, is easy to sight in, and the eye relief is perfect on my cantilevered scope mount. It proved to be the perfect topping for my new slug gun when it took just one shot at over 100 yards to drop a very nice whitetail during the Illinois season last Fall. The deer can be seen at #96 in the Cabela's on- line Trophy Room. I have used several other decent scopes on my other slug guns and muzzleloaders, but I give the Leupold my highest recommendation."

"I currently have Leupold scopes on all of my rifles. This is the least expensive of them all. The performance has proved to be equal to the others, (simply outstanding)! I took it to the range last weekend, along with a freind who packed along his new Nikon Prostaff. In comparing the sight picture for clarity and brightness, the Leupold appeared to be every bit as clear and even a little brighter. I feel that is saying something when comparing the 40MM objective Nikon to a little 33MM objective Leupold. The thickness of the Turkey Plex reticle is an advantage when peering into a darker background, such as dense timber, over the standard fine crosshairs. I'm looking forward to using it for many years to come!"

"This scope is awesome. Went out today to sight it in for the first time. It was much clearer then my last scope. Cabelas did a great job bore sighting it also. My first two shots at fifty yards were in a one inch circle. Move out to 100 yards and had a three shot one inch group. Made a small ajustment and the next three shot were in the one inch bullseye. I have the scope mounted on a Remington 11-87 cantilever deer barrel and was shooting the Hornady SST slugs. So far this scope is well worth the money. We'll see what happen in November."

"Having 3 Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8 scopes on my 3 other rifles, I knew I would not regret purchasing this scope. I mouted it on my new .50 cal. muzzleloader (inline) which was a breeze to do and went the range. Sighting in for point of impact required 3 shots as the adjustments were easy to use and accurate. This scope is a great value and I would buy another if I ever need one."
