"I drilled a couple of extra holes in the dual receiver so it would seat deeper in the tow hitch. I used it to tow a pop up camper with a bike rack to Canada it worked great ."

"This receiver is exactly what it says. Very good idea. The only problem I have is the wobble in the attached items because there is no way to tighten down the receiver into to truck's receiver."

"Besides having to lengthen the chains, I also found it better to cut a couple of inches off the shaft and drill new holes on the shaft that fits into my reciever, it makes it a lot more solid and puts it closer to the vehicle, but make sure you get the holes right and centered or you'll have problems lining the locking pin up, But now I can leave my carrier in place and hook up the trailer as needed, It does stick out abit, but that was expected and with the fold up carrier always mounted, I don't walk into the ball anymore.
And count on getting a couple of locking pins or three of them so you can be sure it's not going anywhere.
I'm very pleased with the product now after the small adjustments I made."

"We used our dual reciever hitch during hunting season. We use our bikes to ride in and out of where we hunt and by using the dual reciever, I was able to put my bike carrier in the top tube and I had more room inside the trailer for gear. It also moved the trailer back a little more so I could actually get into the bed of my truck easier. I plan on using it more during the summer to carry bikes while going camping and pulling a trailer."

"We bought this attachment in hopes of raising our bicycle rack higher off the groung(when we use our Caravan). so the hitch and bikes didn't drag when we drove on uneven ground. Because this attachment adds length to the set up, even with the 2" lift, we did not gain any advantage. Bottom line, someone need to invent a goose neck that rises directly from the hitch and gains elevation immediately."

"I have been watching for a reciever like this for a long time and was happy to find this one.The only consern I had was the rating for the weight. This product should be made with a solid shaft and the rating could be alot higher so you can use with a travel trailer and bikerack,that is what I had done to mine at a qualified welding shop and now I am good to go!"

"We used the dual hitch to haul our pop-up camper and our bike rack with two bikes. The hitch is really heavy duty and we were extremely pleased with the quality. The only problem that we had is that our safety chain and trailer lights connection were not long enough while using the hitch. We were able to have them lengthened, but this is an issue that will need to be dealt with before the hitch can be used. Great idea though....wonder why somebody didn't come up with this sooner?"

"I tow a trailer and carry a canoe on top of my truck. I use the top receiver for the canoe carrier. You may need to add a bit of chain as this hitch adds about 10" to the tongue. Very solid."

"It sounded like a great idea, but our bike rack (with bikes)won't fit between the trailer and our truck without modifications. I'd like to see how others have made it work. The jack and propane tank make it hard to fit bikes and still turn a corner. We may be able to get it to work with three bikes loaded on our four bike rack, if we take off the front wheels.
Also you may have to buy another extension, like it appears we we'll have, to improve room between the truck and the trailer, then we'll have to lengthen the safety chain and electrical connection.
The Receiver is heavy duty enough!"

"the mount doesn't fit into my 2" receiver as snuggly as I would like (it tends to be a littel loose and has some give to it) but works as advertised and allows me to load up my bike rack with 4 bikes and tow my jeep behind my RV - also was a great price"

"This thing worked great with a 9000lb multi mount winch to pull several vehicles including a full size truck onto a trailer. Only down side I can find is safety chains are not long enough with this product installed."
