"I've tried numerous battery operated night time dog collars. The Nitize is the BEST. Although very simple construction, appears to glow and I get non-stop complements and questions when I walk my Blue Nose American Pit Bull Terrier.
The battery does run out (2032) and does wear out and get dirty, but they are really 'cool' looking and provide safety at night for a dark haired dog."

"We ordered two collars, for each of our large dogs. As we have a cabin in the bush, we want to see our pets at night when we let them out to do their business. These collars shine brightly, and if the full collars would illuminate, they would be fabulous. However, because of the way they are packaged, they were bent in places, and the full glow did not extend through the trauma due to packaging. Great product, bad packaging."

"I purchased a size large for my dog. I turned it on. Only half of the collar lit up, the other half did not light up. I tried to adjust it to fit my dogs neck since the large collar was too big. I tried and tried but the electronic band inside was too large to go through the opening in the plastic snap so I couldn't make it smaller. I can't use this at all."

"I was using a little light from a pet shop that wouldn't work all the time. I ordered this product and now I can see where my Black Lab is even in the darkest areas of my yard. Some other reviews said it was difficult to do some things with this collar. The only real problem I had was inserting the glow tube after sizing it, I used some dish soap and it slipped right in; although I did have to work it a bit to get it past the sizing buckle. Just waiting to see how long the batteries last now.
Great pet safety item, if you love your pet and let them out in the dark, this is a "MUST BUY'.."

"I bought this collar a few weeks ago for a 9 lb chihauhau/? mix. The dog is so little she can fit through the pool fence. She's also dark colored, which gives her a lot of room to "disappear" at night on the acre lot. I was very pleased with the collar. It actually did fit her neck (11"), is very bright, and not heavy. It works beautifully. This company is also a joy to work with if you haven't shopped with Cabella's before. Returns are a breeze, customer service excellent, products exceptional."

"This collar is a great help in keeping track of my beagle at night when she's in the bushes looking for a rabbit to jump. It produces a soft red glow, not particularly bright but enough to track her, especially when combined with a bell on the collar. I recommend this collar to anyone who runs a dog at night. Like other reviewers have noted, the collar comes folded sharply in half, and the plastic light bar was bent. Gently bend the light bar in the other direction and use a hair dryer on the bend for a minute, and it will straighten out. Slide into the collar, and you're up and running."

"We love these collars,we put them on our Pit Bulls to help keep track of them in the yard at nigh. We just look out the window and there they are. We live in the mountains with 1 acre fenced and we can see them anywhere on the property. We also like the security knowing if they got lose cars can see them and they are easyer to find.
