Antler Handles and drawer pulls,

"I had a large order for several drawer pulls and one was broken in the package. The door antlers were fine. I was able to repair the broken drawer pull that was broken in two during shipping by glueing it together. I would recommend that when shipping these items more protective padding be added to the shipping box. It was a minor glitch and the first one ever experienced when purchasing items online from cabela's. Overall I am pleased with the product."

Can't tell it's fake,

"First reaction--wow, I can't tell this from the real thing--and I had a real antler right there to compare it to. Second reaction--I think I need two of these. I ordered this to go on the outside of the front door of my log home, so it would last better than a real antler in our very cold winters and 24 hr intense summer sun. The door is 4 1/2 inches thick, so conventional doorsets won't fit and would look ridiculous with the door and the 20 in diameter logs. Now I'm working on how to attach two of these with just two holes through the door. Great product."

"We bought 42 of these antler pulls in various shapes and sizes. They really make our lodge themed kitchen look great. Three of the pulls had problems with mis-alighned threaded insterts, so the screws didn't work right, but all were replaced very quickly. If you are looking for a cabin or lodge atmosphere, these are the pulls for you!"

"Another very nice product from Cabelas! I was a little dissapointed in the size of the fork on the 'Left Fork' pulls. It seemed to be a little small. The 'Right Fork' pulls were very nice and make the end tables look brand new and they also fit my game room to a tee!!"

"They are too shiney but look nice. The screws that come with it are too short IMO for a door (like in the picture). I went and bought a little longer ones and they work fine."

"The drawer pull was not even the same item as the one pictured on the website photo. I didn't send it back to get replaced or my money back because it would have cost me more in terms of shipping than it was worth.
As for the one star, it shouldn't even rate as poor when it is not even the same thing. I gave it one star only because the form would not allow me to submit it with zero stars!!!!
VERY, VERY DISSAPOINTED IN CABELA'S."

"I ordered them from a clearance email I received. The texture seems accurate. The only option available was "gun metal" finish but the picture showed it as a natural coloring. They were on clearance so I can't complain too much and they did say "gun metal" finish only. They are pretty shiny, I'm not sure why they would even make that finish because it's obviously not real and that's why people would order them, for the "realness". I guess that is why they were on clearance. After reading the other reviews, I am concerned about breakage. Maybe I'll try painting them myself to look more realistic."

"I thought about useing these but found it easyer to use the real thing, not faux. I 've made over a hundred for my home and friends homes and have found the price to be equal, as for the quality, real antler hands down has got the quality as well as the style. And get this , no two antlers are alike. when in doubt allways try the real stuff first. I'm from Wyoming but live in Alabama. You can have a nice set either way, faux or real?"
