cabelas lacer boots,

"Iv had other brands of boots and paid up to $250.00 and only last 6 months. I use them hard. The Cabelas brand boot so far has been the best! Bottoms havent worn or come loose and the nose of the boot and sole is tough. Thanks"

Great construction,

"I have had these pair of boots for 3 weeks, and have used them primarily for work. Painting houses I am on ladders a lot and found the soles to be substantial when standing on rungs for extended periods of time.
Also, the seems on the lining are placed in a way that should wear for some time. One thing that helped breaking them in, was to start lacing them loosely, tightening them incrementally for a week or until comfortable."

"They had stitched the tongue leather to the boot in a very uncomfortable spot. It hit on the ankle bone and rubbed terribly. It was like that only with one boot......I think the quality control and design of the boot was very poor. We had to take them back to the store in Reno and exchange them for the plain toe 10" Roughneck S.A.W. work boot. They cost a bit more but are an excellent choice! Cabela's was very good about exchanging them for us."

"We ordered several types of boots to try and these are one of the pairs that are going back. They might have been good but the sizes run small so they did not fit. Consider ordering a half size larger than usual, or the larger of the sizes that you usually order. Looked like a very sturdy boot overall."

"I wore these shoes the first day for 12 hours with no discomfort at all! I work for a delivery company and spent many hours in these shoes during Christmas and they still look new. The soles look as good as the first day I put them on. I love these boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"These are the best work boots I have ever had. Excellent construction, confortable, durable & water proof. I have not had the "break-in" difficulties others have reported. I bought them as a combination work boot & motorcycle boot & they are terrific for both. They are stylish enough that I wear them to the lab so I can ride my bike to work."

"I've worn these boots for about 4 months now. Over the years I've had several pairs of lacer style boots and these are head and shoulders above the rest. For starters, they are waterproof, which is a very nice feature. But where the "rubber meets the road" is in the construction.
They are more solidly constructed than a normal lacer boot, more along the lines of a workboot. I'm very impressed with the durability, having worn them nearly every day with no signs of wear. The only issue I had with them at all is that they took about a week to break in, but I expect to be wearing them for several years."

"well i never buy the best boots, i normaly just buy what looks good and cheap, but this time i decided to splurge alittle and actualy buy boots that are going to last awhile and keep my feet dry and warm. i havent had these boots for too long but so far just with breaking them i am very satisfied. my feet have got cold acouple of times but nothing that two pairs of sockes couldn't fix. i have been buying all types of products from cabela's and will continue doing so. iv'e never had a problem so far with any of my shipments nore miss manurfactured products."
