Cabela's Gore-Tex steel toe badlands boots,August 24, 2009
By mattb9from Bismarck, AR
"I purchased these boots in steel toe because I am required to for work. You can't even notice that they have a steel toe. They are very comfortable, and water proof to the top of tongue. I wear them all day working in the field. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone."

good pair of boots,November 28, 2008
By gerald59from Blytheville, AR
"The boots are great to wear at work. I'm a electrican and I stand, sit, and neal on my job. The only draw back is putting them on. They seem to have a small opening for the foot. other than that I think they are great."

Steel toe probem,August 19, 2008
By vejr
"I tried to get used to wearing these boots but the right one kept making my outside toes develope sore spots. The steel toe plastic edge has sharp corners on both ends. I had to remove the inner lining of the boot to remove the plastic edge attached to the steel toe to be able to wear them. Now I have one boot looser than the other and probably wetter but at these prices, what ever it takes, since more and more products are losing their quality."

Farm Boots!,November 6, 2007
By Anonymousfrom Wayne Co., Ohio
"My husband likes these boots! We have a terrible time finding boots for him that hold up to the rigors of farming and these do a pretty solid job. He does not complain about his feeting hurting at the end of the day anymore. One pair a year is far better than previous products! Wish the prcie could be lower, but then again, you get what you pay for!"

Excellent,August 2, 2007
By farmallfrom Westminster, Maryland
"These work boots are very comfortable & fit well. They perform as well as advertised and better. The upper lacing hooks seem to be slightly under sized, the laces slip off easily while lacing but this does not detract from the overall excellence of the boot. I am very pleased with them and would highly recommend them."

Uncomfortable!,April 2, 2007
By Artieffrom Derry, New Hampshire
"I'm sorry to say These are THE most Uncomfortable work boots I have ever worn. I have not been able to wear them since the first couple of days..... By the end of the first day my feet were actually throbbing, I attempted to wear them again a few days later, no better. A third day I bought gel inserts, no better. I have now given up and resigned myself to the fact that I have wasted alot of money on work boots I can not wear."

Cabela's Steel-toe Badlands Lacer,November 20, 2006
By Graybeardfrom San Diego, CA
"I bought these boots specifically for my work environment. I drive cement mixers and my feet are constantly subjected to water, mud, and cement chemicals. I carefully researched five other boot makers before choosing these boots from Cabela's. My choice was made on these following options: Waterproof leather boots with steel toes, leather specifically for harsh environments, comfort, and the soles had to have a shallow but gripping tread/traction. Since buying these boots all I have done is clean them weekly and put some leather treatment on them to keep the leather from prematurely drying out. They are very comfortable even with the steel toes and I average 11 to 13 hours a day wearing them without a problem."
