Perfect Warm Weather Pants,August 3, 2009
By BRI1911from Nothern California
"Mossy oak Trek-lite pants are the answer to late summer, early fall, hunting activities. I use both patterns for late summer Hunt tests and for early fall hunting. The zip off feature is convenient for after hunt relaxing and allows me to be comfortable while reviewing the days activities with my hunting partners."

Too short,March 10, 2009
By huntarkfrom Arkansas
"I love the material (lightweight) of the pants as well as the adjustable waistband, however they only come in one standard length (32" I believe). I guess you can tuck them into your boots if you want to. There are tall people out here that like to hunt and there needs to be more pants and shirt sleeves that fit. I am going to have to return mine. I wish they were longer so I could keep them."

Not CABELA'S Quality,February 1, 2008
By Bowhunterofturkeysfrom Maine ( On the coast )
"I just received the pants and they are noisy, have no regular belt loops but just a cheap web belt that is junk, and they do not run true to size. I bought a size large 36 to 38 and I wear a 36 but had enough room for practically another person. I have just packaged them to go back and I think someone missed the call on the quality. I buy a lot a Cabela's and hope they replace these with a better made quality and with better features. Also as an after thought they had velcro on the pockets and that is not good for bow hunting."

"I did not like the fabric and returned the pants. The draw string would not stay tight and they were difficult to keep on with a shell bag."

Trek-Lite Pants not so quiet,September 11, 2007
By yukondriverfrom Colorado, mountain hunter
"Great product. Very light weight and breathable. These pants are not as quiet as I would like. Maybe after 15 or more washings they will "soften" a bit more. The rustle when you walk or move in a tree stand. Not much, but, more than most "quiet" clothing. No product I have found is better in hot weather and from a quick drying standpoint."

cabelas order,September 11, 2007
By Anonymousfrom Alabama
"I was very satisfied with my recent purchase and all other purchases I have made from Cabelas. My orders are always correct and shipped quickly. I am very pleased with Cabelas. We are not fortunate enough to have a Cabelas anywhere in our living area. Therefore, I have to visit a Cabelas store when my husband and I travel & we do alot of online & catalog ordering. I am very thankful that we aways have prompt and precise service with our ordering. Thanks again Cabelas!!"

Bitter/Sweet,September 3, 2007
By CSCBowHunterfrom OR
"Sweet: • The coolest, most comfortable hunting clothes I have ever worn. It's like going into the woods wearing pajamas. • Great airflow. • Great camo pattern. • Well made. • Shirt has plenty of reach and room to draw. • Very light weight Bitter: • Pants and shirt are covered in velcro. It's everywhere–shirt pockets, pants pockets, boot ties, etc. It's noisy. Once you put something in a pocket, don't plan to access it within long earshot of game. Velcro does not belong in the woods...period. • The fabric is not as quiet as you would like for bow hunting though probably appropriate if your game is a little farther away. • The pants have a built in web belt and there is no way to attach your gear. It's not made to be taken on and off. I had to wear another camo belt on top of the one in the pants (and without beltloops) just to attach my rhino, rangefinder, knife, etc. What are people thinking who make hunting pants without belt loops? • The zip-off bottom zippers tend to rub your thighs and irritate after long hikes (especially long climbs). Summary: These clothes are just one revision away from being awesome. 80% of my gripes would be silenced if they would loose the Velcro and put a good set of heavy belt loops on the pants. The other issues are minor."

great pants!,August 23, 2007
By bigdgfrom all over the Rockies
"I have had a pair of these pants for at least three years, and wear them constantly for wet wading, probably over 100 times a year (I'm retired). They are very comfortable, lightweight, but are still very durable. Even though they're still going strong I've still had to order a new pair...for my girlfriend, who thought they were great, too!"

chuckarman,November 30, 2006
By chuckarmanfrom Eastern Washington (cold high desert)
"I purchased my trek-lite pants so that I could use them on the high deer hunt in September. The material is very light and does tend to shed water. The zipper conversion to shorts is really nice and good on warm days in the high country. Unfortunately, the zipper does tend to rub on the thigh and make for uncomfortable long term wear. I would recommend these pants to someone whose legs are not as large as mine. Good pants and concept but not good if you have muscular legs and need to cover a lot of terratory. The price is very reasonble for this high tech fabric material."

Early Season Montana Bow Hunt,November 21, 2006
By MobileTurtlefrom Mobile, AL
"In preperation for an early season bow hunt in the Missouri River Breaks, and knowing that the weather can still be pretty warm in early September, I purhased a complete set of the Trek-Lite garment in Mossy Oak Brush. The pants performed above my expectations. With a great amount of ground being covered every day, there was no way not to sweat in the 90 degree weather. The Trek-Lite pants offered excellent wicking and drying capabilities, and compared to my hunting partner I definately feel I stayed on the cool side during the days. The pants are well made with plenty of pockets. The only downfall being that some of the pockets have velcro fastenings which can sometimes be noisy when you are trying to be silent. I also found the material to be a little noisy when stalking those final few yards. Aside from these two observations I definately recommend the garment to the hard core warm weather hunter. Overall a great product."

Great Choice for New Mexico Antelope,November 20, 2006
By ChrisfromNJfrom NW New Jersey
"Picked up the shirt and matching pants for an antelope hunt in New Mexico for late August '06, the fit was great and the material was comfortable, quiet and lite. The camo pattern was excellent and would highly recommend. The zip off pants legs were a nice addition."
