"I ordered these shoes after choking on the price for two years watching them increase in price. I finally ordered the shoe and wish I had done it sooner. I wear a 9 1/2. Hard to find in women's shoes with a narrow heel. The strap fits my heel snuggly and there is extra room in the toes which solves my problem with my toes rubbing with todays styles. I wear them for work. The rubber toe is very protective around rolling equipment"

"I did not keep the keen newport sandles. I mailed them back this week. I hate doing that because I have paid postage both ways - what a waste. The shoes were heavier than expected. I wore them around the carpet in my house and was surprised how hot they were. The right foot was very comfortable. However, the left shoe was too tight - a problem with my feet !! not the shoe ! That is why I returned them. My daughter has a pair and likes them. I think if I tried them again I would get the newport H2 style. I believe they are lighter weight and would dry faster if they got wet."

"I will have to say that these shoes are extremely comfortable. They have an excellent arch support with a cool foot bed, (your bare feet do not sweat while wearing the sandals). There is also pleanty of room for your toes not to be bunched together. It took about a two hour breakin period. If you are going to be wearing thick socks with these sandals, I suggest you buy a half to full size larger than you normally buy. Otherwise, order your normal size. Great shoe for the price and I highly recommend them."

"I had pretty high expectations reading all the other reviews. My main issue is that I still have problems with rubbing on the left heel. I have another pair of Keens (Mary Jane style) which I LOVE and those ones are super comfortable. This pair just isn't quite there yet. But I'm continuing to break them in and hope that it works. Definitely follow the advice to order 1/2 size up. I am normally a solid 8.5 but was perfect with a 9. They do, however, seem a little wide or maybe it is just that they are meant to be a bit clunky."
