Good product,

"I was having second thoughts before buying this decoy. People were complaining about paint falling off, not keeping the shape, etc, etc.
My decoy is just fine. At the beginning I was having trouble with the shape but I quickly discovered that by using the sticks you can just push it out from the inside and worked great. It is light and flexible and inexpensive."

"Mine never opened back up to the correct shape. If it had, there was no way for the stake to fit into the decoy tight enough come close to making it stand up."

Hen and Jake decoys,

"Decoys look real! The only problem is as soon as I took them out of the box, the paint falls off. Im a painter and have plenty of touch up paint, so its not to hard for me to touch them up. I believe the problem is that the release agent from the mold cast to the decoy is not cleaned off before painting. They need to fix this problem. By the way the paint falls off very easy! I hope they solve the problem soon, before they have a bunch of unsatisfied customers! I give it 3 stars because of the realism!"

"I was pleasantly surprised when I opened these up. Decoys are made from a sturdy rubber like material as opposed to cheaper foam decoys. I had no problems whatsoever getting the dents out right out of the box. Paint job and stakes seems durable as well. Jake even has lifelike glass eyes. Great attention to detail and made in the US. Can't go wrong with these, I plan on using this set for many years."

"Upon opening, found much of the white paint flaking off. Also, these decoys do not "remember" their shape too well. Mine still have "dents" in them that won't go away for good. There are other decoys that I've seen (not at Cabelas) since buying these that cost only slightly more, yet do not flake and they fold up much easier and are lighter. They do not look that bad though. We'll see how well the toms react to them in the spring. I suspect they'll work just fine."

"My old Delta hen decoy finally gave up the ghost. I wanted another hen that was in a more upright position. This is the exact hen decoy I was looking for. I only wished they made one that was actually stretching itself even taller."

"I used the Jake and Hen Decoy twice. Approx. 1/3 of the paint has chipped off of the heads of both decoys. I won't purchase any more of these."

"These decoys are great. They are lightwieght and can easily fit into my pack. I had a gobbler close the distance seeing my jake decoy. He never knew what hit him. Good decoys!"

"I've owned several brands of turkey decoys. I got rid of the old ones after using these Cabela's decoys. What do you really need in a decoy? 1) Lifelike appearance. Without using an actual turkey, these are as close as you're going to get.
2) Durable. These are as tough as any out there.
3) Easily fold and reexpand. They'll do it. I use the Feeding Hen, Alert Hen, and Jake in different combinations depending on my set up. They have drawn in hens, jakes and toms this season and I am very pleased."

"Good product for the price. I have already used it in conjunction with other decoys to take some Rios this spring. Its super light and folds up nicely in back of my vest. Stakes that come with it are horrible, in fact I believe they sent me a mismatched set. I replaced them with the Buckwing stakes available from Cabelas. It gives the decoy some nice motion in the wind."

"These decoys work great! I had several gobblers come running to the jake decoy. My spring turkey season has been the best one ever. I used the jake and hen with much success. They are lightweight and fold up nicely in my cabela's backpack. Yesterday I used the jake decoy and had a tom run over 100 yards to get to it before I even had a chance to begin calling. I shot him from 25 ft with my crossbow. He never knew what hit him. You just can't beat these decoys for the price. Buy them and you will never hunt without them again. Thanks cabela's for another great product!"
