"On the serious side, the Eco-Blast is the first truly earth friendly device I have had the privilege of owning in a long time. I took it with a 'grain-of-salt' when I first saw it... a plastic valve on a soda pop bottle... However, this is fantastic little horn really does blow and loudly. I compared it to my small hand held that uses replacement cans and this one took the flag, hands down... adjustable volume… large reservoir… light weight… and it does not get ‘super hot’ in sunlight! It fits in my on-board cup holders and refills easily with one of my boys old sports ball pumps that fit on it in a heartbeat. No waste going to the landfill and no extra money out of my pocket for ‘air’…. What more can I say other than the ‘beauty of this beast is more than skin deep’ I may even try taking this as a 'first defense' noise for driving off bears that get too friendly up in Alaska."

"This little horn is portable, lightweight, and it packs a punch! It is refillable using any standard bicycle pump, electronic or otherwise. I got it to scare the bears after reading some advice from some other hikers. It does the job, but it can be used in so many more ways than that.
If you are looking for an air horn that you don't know whether or not you'll use more than once or twice per year, this might be the best one you can find given its ease of use and reuse along with its compact and lightweight design."

"With the amount of horn I got with one charge, I would be pretty bothered if I was using a disposable cannister. The positives are the sound (VERY loud) and the ability to save the environment by not throwing away cannisters constantly. The negatives are the light design (all light plastic that I feel will not hold up to much wear and tear) and the length of sound you will get from each charge. I use the product for teaching PE and I can get by with a number of short blasts between charges. I've not counted, but you would get a couple of dozen "chirps" from a single charge. The real problem is the need for any sustained blasts. You're not likely to get more than 2, or 3 long horns if required. I also had a little trouble refilling the product the first couple of times. I've found the need to put my thumb in the horn to recharge it. If I don't the air seems to go directly from the input valve (a standard bicycle tire valve) straight out the horn without filling the cannister. Now I'm used to it, so it is less of a hassle, but it was a little annoying at first. I may get another of these as I still prefer it over a disposable cannister, but I may pay the extra cash to buy the rechargeable metal can over this plastic model."

"Love it as you never have to worry about it tipping over and not working like the canned metal units. We use it to breakup dog fights between our two dogs that don't get along with each other. Also it's easy to refill with our air compressor and it runs a very long time on one fill up so it will save us money in a short period of time plus I always know when it is getting low on air, not like the metal canned ones."

"I recently purchased my first boat and was in the market for all the required safety equipment. I purchased the Eco-Blast Sport Air Horn as part of that safety equipment. The product is as advertised. It is extremely loud and works great. I like the fact that I can recharge the horn with my compressor.
