"I bought this pump because it was cheap, but it turns out it was cheaply made. The plastic handle was held to the plastic shaft by a single rivet, and the second time I used this pump the handle socket split at the rivet hole, and the handle came off.
I've glued the handle on with epoxy (probably how it should have been assembled the first time) but I have no confidence the pump will last. My best guess is that the next failure will be the drain hose attachment to the pump body. It's pretty flimsy."

"After years of using the old 1/2 milk jug to bail the boat, I found this gem and purchased it. Worth every penny, and hate to say it, would pay more for it. Very easy to use, and pumps good volume with every stroke. Constructed well, and will hold up to some abuse. Does its job marvelously. Definitely recommend purchasing if you get any water in boat."

"I purchased this pump to remove water from my kayak and canoe. It works slik and removes alot of water with every pump. Its fairly compact, and will last a long time. saves alot of time insted of bailing water with a bottle or tin can. It also can get into tight spaces and romoves almost all the water. works great and good price."

"Bought this pump for my kayak but a week later my outboard was going under during a wind storm. It's electric bilge pump was not working and it had filled nearly to the gunnels.
Without this little workhorse and two others like it I would have lost the engine underwater. As it is the engine stayed dry and the pumps cleared the bilge and allowed the boat to float another day.
Simple, works and priced right."

"I have a paddle boat in my pond and only used it two or three times a year because it would fill up with water during rain storms. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on an expensive pump and using a pail or scoop was a real chore because of the peddles.
I purchased this low cost bilge pump and wow ! It pumps out the water in minuets. It even gets into small compact areas with ease.
It won't rust and is light weight so it is easy to handle. Now my wife and I go out and peddle around the pond all the time. It is so nice to utilize our boat once again"
