Lazy Leg Monopod,
May 5, 2009
By mnbvcxz
from Kansas
|
"EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!!! My boys love it. The 12g is a little to heavy for them but they like shooting it. This allows them to steady the gun for that slow walk in by Mr. Tom. Only thing that would make it better is if it had another small leg at the bottom to make it a bipod."

Lazy Leg Monopod,
May 4, 2009
By chef59
from Tioga County, PA
|
"Adapter does not fit on an Ithaca Mag 10, to loose. Difficult to position and lock into place for shot. I had a gobbler come off the roost to my tree yelps immediately. Too difficult to play around with the adjustsment settings. Ultimately, I just held my gun for the shot. 22 lbs., 11.5" beard, 1"spurs. I'll stick with holding the gun up myself."

"Lazy Leg More like Broken Leg. Mono pod fell off after two shots and mount was connected to the barrel. Glad I was practicing and not aiming at a long beard."

Monopod use,
March 24, 2009
By fj40man
from Louisiana
|
"This works great, my 9 yr old has it on his shot gun for turkeys. We had a Gobbler hang up on us for 15 mins, without this my son would not have been able to keep his gun held up for that length of time. The down side to it, becareful not to twist and lock the leg into position to tight. It is quite hard to unlock it if you do. Also if you have a short barrel you can't rest your gun across a log with the leg folded. It may be longer than your barrel and will be in the line of fire when you shoot. Still it is well worth it when you have to hold the gun up waiting for the shot."

Lousey Leg,
March 10, 2009

"Should be called lousey leg. The spacer provided to fit the barrel comes out, leg stays locked if you get it to lock, then it will not unlock. Hex bolt striped easy."

Cheaply made,
February 26, 2009
By Anonymous
|
"Lazy Legs monopod is cheaply made and it is a substandard product.
It will attach to the gun, with difficulty. Other than that, there's almost nothing good to say about the product.
The leg, fully extended, is too short.
There is little leeway for adjustment.
I'm going to the hardware store to find some kind of clamp for my shotgun, and I'll just make my own leg."

Broke before I could Use It in the field,
October 27, 2008
By Vortex
from Buckley, WA
|
"I put the lazy leg on the night before the opener for turkey season. The next morning the lazy leg was already loose and the legs would not stay extended. I would not recommend this product to any one that I know untill the problems get worked out or untill they come out with a better idea."

Stripped out,
June 3, 2008
By hevishot13
|
"Different from the original, not made as well. The internal threads will strip out easy, but other than that it is helpful for a solid rest and does away with laying the gun on your knee or having to shoot free handed. The product helped me hold steady enough to kill one at 63yds."

a must for a young hunter,
April 15, 2008
By MPrice
from Southern Maryland
|
"I purchased this monopod in anticipation of my 9 year old nephew going on his first turkey hunt where he will be shooting. Even with his youth style shotgun, he has trouble steading it for longer periods of time while waiting on a shot. This product absolutely made the difference, so much in fact there will absolutely be one on his slug gun for this upcoming deer season."
