"I've taken 5 gobblers over this decoy after I put a real jake fan on it and trimmed the beard to about 3 to 4 inches long. The fake fan included isn't too impressive, especially the back. Setup and all is easy. Once I did those two mods to it I love it."

"hi turkey hunters im 47 yrs old and ive hunted for 40yrs and i can tell you the pretty boy turkey decoy is the best ive ever seen.its a gobblers worst night mare. nothing is 100 percent all the time. but ill say this thing has to be 95%. ive had old gobblers leave their hens and comea runnin to pretty boy ready for battle.i still like the run and gun method of hunting just for the challenge.but for you older turkey hunters this is the sure fire method.pop up you a good blind set out your decoys in a place where turkeys can see them.but be sure to put them in shooting range of your blind where you have a good shot. sit down in a comfortable chair and get ready to shoot. i gave it 4 stars only because it is a little bulky to carry.but if your really interested in killing turkeys. get a set and use them they are very effective.you wont be sorry you got them.give them a try you will glad you did. good hunting"

"This product is very well constructed and lookss great in the field. The negative side of it is in is not mobile at all. This decoy does not fold up and is hard to take on hunts that require some hiking, it is very light but trying to carry this along with a double bull and a bow just does not work well."

"These decoys have worked out excellent this year. Several nice toms have been taken using these decoys. "I only had 1 chance to use these and they worked like a charm. I hunted a cut rhye grass field that was around 500 yards long. i was at the low end of the field and immediatley had a longbeard gobbling at first light. he was up a ridge at the far end of the field. when he saw these decoys he actually ran to them. the last 200 yards he broke into full strut still running like a track star! the dekes were 20 yards away and when he got between them it was lights out. i've never seen anything like this!"

"I took my first turkey ever on 4-25-09 at 6:45am. The turkey's first saw my decoys at 6am and by 6:25 they were practically fighting each other in their roosts. Two Toms came to within 5ft of the decoys from 150 yds out. The rest is something I will never forget. I recommend using a real turkey fan instead of the fake one that comes with the set if you are lucky enough to have an extra. The fake fan reflects a lot of light on sunny days. These are the best decoys on the market by far, I can't wait to buy my left over tag and get back out there. Good luck all!!!!!!"

"this decoy has unparalleled realism, granted it could use some upgrades.
.first off i painted it with an iridescent paint to give it the shimmer turkeys get when there feathers catch the sun just right
second i replaced the stock fan with one of my own
third, i replaced the beard and lower wings with an actual turkey beard and wings (which took some doing but makes it look amazing)
and that's all i can think of, every other aspect of this decoy cannot be beat :)."

Got My First Bird This Morning!,April 25, 2009

"I'm 30 and have been hunting deer since I was 12. This was my first day Spring Turkey hunting here in PA in my life. I put the decoys up in a field and used a nice purr on my striker call at the edge of the woods. About 7:30 this morning a gobbler started yelping back at me and when he saw the decoys, he strutted his behind right over to my spot. Kaplow! first turkey ever and these decoys surely played a part. I would recommend these to any hunter, whatever skill level. I wish I would have videotaped my outing this morning, what a great sport! Hope this helps someone out there.

"This is by far the best turkey decoy I've ever used. My wife and I just got back from Kansas, and I took my best ever gobbler, a trophy 4 beard. The big bird came running in from 75 yds and strutted within 3 ft of the decoy. The only bad thing was that my hunt was over too soon on opening day. Every hen that came in didn't even look twice if it was real or not. I even had one hen stay in the breeding position for over a half an hour. I recommend using your own real fan for added realism. Don't go to the woods without a set, of course, don't forget the girl."

"Pretty Boy arrived malformed on the backside and the hole for the stake was side shifted slightly giving him a minor cant to the right and forward. Figure he'll work fine anyway because Kansas Rios aren't exactly the brightest of all God's creatures. Paint and overall quality otherwise very good. Got the set on a One-Shot sale and figure they must have been clearing out seconds. A pickier buyer would have returned them."
