"The book is dated and only provides basic info - nothing that can't be found on the internet. Save your money."

Ruger 10/22,June 23, 2008
By blotterfrom Kansas.
"This manual is only slightly more useful than the owners manual that came with my 10/22. It did not show enough detail with regards to the bolt (didn't even show the extractor and how it was mounted - easy to figure out, but still) and the trigger group. I was upgrading the hammer and sear with a nice comp set-up. More detail would have been very helpful. Not as detailed as I would have liked. Would have been nice if it explained how to change out some springs, or MORE of the common upgrades available for this versatile rifle. Maybe instructions on other options like pillar and bedding."

Worthless,April 7, 2008
By BrianATLfrom Atlanta
"It seems like it was written in the 1950's and hasn't been updated since. I hoped it would be more specific about take down and schematics."

its your choice,February 21, 2008

"i had my 10/22 for about a year now. it was my grandpa's and he never cleaned it so it was jamming a lot. the 10/22 is so simple of a design you probably wont need the guide. i took it completely apart, cleaned it, and had it back together in the matter of minutes. With a mini 14/30 i got a few of those too. they are a littlt more complicated than the 10/22 but still rather easy. so if you want to get it then get it, but wouldn't recomend to somone."

"Excellent information, detailed beyond the owners manual. I highly recommend getting this if you do not have an owners manual and would still be helpful if you did."
