Leupold's RX series laser rangefinders are top performers. Some of the latest technology introduced in RX series models include 13 selectable reticles, thermometer, inclinometer, fold-down rubber eyecups and accuracy within ±1 yard. The RX-II has True Ballistic Range™(TBR™). This provides a firearm or bow shooter with the correct range when shooting up or down hills. A sophisticated ballistics algorithm is applied to give the corrected, accurate value. This makes uphill and downhill shot placement much more precise. Advanced software, linked to ballistic groupings within the system, allows shooters to utilize TBR in conjunction with their reticle to more precisely determine point of aim when shooting up or down hill. Digital Instrument Panel™ processes signal information digitally in an easy-to-read format. Compact size makes for easy one-hand operation. Available: Gray/Black, Mossy Oak® Obsession™.

Not worth the money spent,October 26, 2009
By BHHunterfrom Rapid City, SD
"While the clearity and accuracy were right on, I'm very disappointed in the reliability of this product. I've only had this product for on season, I can not get the activation button to work 50% of the time, which can be very annoying while your hunting. You'd expect better out of a name branded product like Leupold.
I'll never again buy a Leupold Range Finder !!!!"

Leupold RX-II Rangefinder,September 27, 2009
By Gaderfrom Antioch,IL
"I love the product it works great. The only problem is, its to complicated. It does so much it takes a degree to figure out what the thing is reading and what it is desplaying for you. it does not like any moisture on the unit and it does not like extreme cold both things cause it to short out and not work. My next purchase will be of a not so complicated unit. This is a very fine unit. But not worth the hassel of figuring the many programs out that it has."

Leupold RXII Rangefinder,August 17, 2009
By Ruttingbullfrom Colorado
"This unit is terrible! It has so many options and buttons that you can not find the right one when you need it. It wouldnt range past 50 yards in bow mode, so by the time you switch it through all 13 other modes it is too late to mess with. this thing is junk!"

Not effective for hunting,August 7, 2009
By MJeastwestfrom Virginia/MTN West
"Purchased this rangefinder about 2 years ago. And i can honestly say its way overpriced and not effective at all. I finding this to be more and more true with all the Leupold stuff i have recently purchased. The rangefinder has to many features and non of them work that well, what to much to fiddle with or distrupt in the hunting woods. Does not always work properly either. Completly ineffective in the snow. And will not tell range quickly and sometimes not at all. My friends Nikons and Busnells are far more effective. Also, on an elk hunt last year, 5 of us in camp had Leupolds and 1 had the Leica. The Leica was the only one that worked in the snow and gave readings, non of Leupolds worked at all. SO disappointed. Spend less and get a better one with another company or spend more and get a better one with another company, but dont buy this junk."

Well worth the money!,July 7, 2009
By Bowhunter00073from Sacramento, CA
"I hunt with rifle and a bow. This range finder is the best for both worlds. It does take a little time to learn to use it but it is not hard once you go through the the manual. I don't have much money to spend these days so finding a range finder that will work for bow hunting and rifle hunting, that was not cheap but does not break the bank is a confidence booster in the field. Very light weight and well made."

Not the same Leupold I'm used to.,February 4, 2009
By Naturalborndrillerfrom Bryson City NC
"I bought theRX_II thinking it would be a good rifle/bow rangefinder. Sadly, its not. The buttons are too loud for bowhunting, my primary concern. The TBR doesn't work at all at closer ranges (150 yds or less). And the programming is a nightmare. (tons of useless features like a thermonter). I think I'll just send my old Bushnell 600 back for repairs or replacement. Oh yea, It doesn't read on anything flat black. Not good on my black hole target much less the Russian Boar I missed because the rangefinder couldn't read it!"

bad yardage button,January 18, 2009
By matt989from az
"the rangefinder is extremely clear but the button was heard by a javelina at 30 yards, try the button for yourself and you will hear what i am talking about. i love leupold but i returned them and got the bushnell arc 1000, picture is almost as good and but is 100% silent. everything else about the leupolds is pretty solid."

Not a fan of rangefinders,January 10, 2009
By k4dvfrom Tennessee
"I gave one of these a try and for my style of hunting, they aren't needed. As in all rangefinders, they are hard to hold steady at long range targets without a good steady rest. The thermometer on this one is useless unless you lay it aside and don't touch it for about 15 minutes. Super sensitve to your hand temperature. I returned this to Cabela's without a hitch. Thanks for the great customer service Cabela's."

disappointed,December 20, 2008
By gunner500
"I bought this product because of the leupold name. I own a Leupold scope and love it.
This rangefinder however simply did not live up to my expectations. First of all, you cannot use this rangefinder in a blind (even on second target mode). In addition, any objects I tried to range over 70 yds or so either wouldn't register at all or would give me a range on third or fourth try. Lastly, the tbs stopped working during the first hunting trip I took it on.
Thank goodness for Cabelas outstanding customer service. I returned this with no quesions asked and purchased a Nikon Monarch 800."

RX ll Rangefinder,December 3, 2008

"The rangefinder is easy to use and has many options. Some of the options require a little bit of practice. I will not go hunting without it. I have used it deer hunting and to also check how far out we are setting the duck decoys."
