"Overall, I'm very satisfied. It cost a bit more but it seems bombproof. It is so nice that its a shame when it gets scraped and dinged from the air travel experience. But the guns are super well protected. The lock clamps are very nice. I fit a .22 rifle and a 30-30 carbine, both broke down and fit nicely. MOST IMPORTANTLY, it is not considered an oversize piece of luggage which nowadays saves you a lot of money."

"I recently ordered this case for my AR-15 carbine. Nice solid construction. The lockdown latches are very nice and operate very well. The wheels and spring loaded handles are a welcomed bonus. This particular model has plenty of room for an AR-15 carbine plus accessories, though before you consider getting this for your AR, I'm pretty sure it will not fit a full stock. Mine has to be fully collapsed to fit. You might be able to fit longer AR's if they are broken down. Overall, I'm pleased with this case and secure in the knowledge that all the contents will be kept safe and free from damage."

"This is an amazing case, super heavy duty, very sound, safe, and secure! The only slight negative is with two shotguns it is close to the airlines weight limits. The case empty is roughly 30 pounds, on the other hand with this case you’ll know your firearms will get there unharmed."

"Probably one of the best cases I have used. wheels make it easy to take with you. I let my other bag ride on top of it while I pull it through the airport. My only wish is that it was a little bit lighter the plywood makes it heavy and takes up some of the depth about 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch. But it keeps my rifle or shotgun safe and that is whats important. Plus it is under the airlines luggage measurements of 62 total inches so you don't have to pay the oversize fee."

"Purchased for recent trip to Argentina and wanted strong, durable, protective box which did not shout "GUNS" to every passerby at the Buenos Aires airport. Case looks like a oil-field equipment tool box which is perfect for international travel. Case is very strong as advertised, however, one hinge rivet did manage to work its way out or maybe it was always missing. After round trip the case looked as good as new with no visible dings or scratches. Fits two O/U easily but a semi-auto and O/U combination fits but barely. Guns did not shift in transit and there was no damage. Only gave 4-stars because of the missing rivet."

"This was an excellent case for traveling. It withstood several flights and obviously received some rough treatment from the airlines. My only complaint would be that it is a very tight fit for two guns, however they do fit. Overall, great case and would reccommend it to anyone!"

"I bought the do-all flight proof case specifically because I was going to a sporting clays tournament in Kentucky which has no direct flights from where I live in Texas. I knew that meant that I would have to change planes and that meant that my baggage and guns would have to be transferred to another plane. I've seen how some baggage handlers toss baggage around and was concerned how my shotguns would weather the trip. I'm happy to say that the guns came thru without a scratch. As I expected the case showed that the case was dragged around a bit. The heavy metal corners were able to withstand the rough treatment and altho it is a little heavy the built-in rollers made it easy to move the case around the airport as easy as my clothes. My two shotguns made the round trip and four airplanes without any damage."

"Bought the Do-All Double Breakdown case to transport some guns by commercial airline across the country. The case is heavy, but the wheels take a load off. Even with one pump shotgun, a rifle barrel/action, and a .22 barrel/action, it came in under the airlines' weight restriction. Best of all, the guns got there safely because this case is as solid as a bank vault. The recessed spring loaded handles are a fine idea. There are other cases that are lighter, but I don't think there are any that are built better."

"This case is built to withstand a bomb blast it appears. I have used it a few times now and it has performed flawlessly. It is HEAVY, but rolls easily and keeps the guns exactly where you put them - no movement whatsoever. It is a tight fit for two guns but doable nonetheless. I feel totally secure that my guns are going to be allright when I use this case and am glad that I bought it. It is quite a case for a decent price."

"I was a bit disappointed in this case. It is too heavy and bulky. I may have been better off with one of the others offered by Cabelas. I also found it a bit cramped for two guns. Given the chance to use another case, I would try it.
Now in all fairness, this may be a great case to use when actually flying. Would probably hold up to the baggage handlers.
One of the good things is the wheels. We have used it going to shooting competitions and it is good for wheeling into the hotel. The handle could be designed better, it is too short.
Overall, I give it an average rating"

"The Do-All Flight Proof case is very well built and I had no hesitation turning it over to the baggage carriers on my last cross country flight. In addition to the solid construction I like the recessed latches and spring-loaded, folding handles. The case is quite heavy but the built-in wheels make for easy transportation in airports. It is advertised as a double case but I've only used it for one. I'm sure that two is doable but I think it would be a tight fit. Overall, I think it is a great value."

"This beast is correctly identified as "heavy duty." It is built to take a beating. The only downside to this construction is that the case is very heavy to lift. With two guns it weighed in at about 43 lbs, just under the 50 lb limit set by United Airlines. Fortuantely, the wheels make it easy to roll on hard surfaces.
Despite the ambiguous product description and the product image shown in Cabelas catalog, the case will hold two shotguns. But it's a tight fit. I had to look at a picture on the box to see how to arrange the pieces so that they would all fit.
This is a good choice for those who want a case that will: 1) meet United's 60" total lineal dimension limit; 2) carry two o/u shotguns; and 3) provide serious protection for your weapons."

"The only means of going to shoots where I live is by via plane and with the investment in combos being second to autos/trucks, even with additional full replacement insurance the risk of replacement/repair could mean weeks if not months, and or trips to the US mainland for fittings etc. Being said and understood the type of treatment that is given normal luggage by the airlines my risk/exposure is too great given the above. My club has quite a few of these cases and bar none I/we haven't seen/used any other flight proof case that can even come close to meeting our requirements, needs and satisfaction."
