Great value in a versatile holster.,
June 22, 2009
By Sungloblu
from Southwest Florida
|
"Fits tight on the waistband. Won't shift. Plenty of adjustment for height or angle. Perforated paddle lessons perspiration under paddle. Holds weapon away from body far enough to minimize perspritation contacting weapon but close enough for concealment under a loose shirt or jacket. I have one for a medioum sized semi-auto pistol and one for a five shot revolver. The only shortfall is that the revolver holster won't fit a .357 revolver as the .357 cylinder is a little longer than the .38. Very secure fit on the .38 though."

Nice and fast,

"While this could be more comfortable (the paddle is really stiff), it retains well, is very adjustable, cants the weapon outward nicely (gets it around the body armor) and has a fast, smooth draw."

Didn't fit well,
February 3, 2009
By Anonymous
from CO
|
"Didn't fit my springfield 1911 very well. It was too tight so I sent it back. Also seems like it would rub a lot and require a lot of force to remove from the holster. If I try another similar holster, I will get one with a release button so that it is secure in the holster, but can be drawn easily."

"This Michael's Kydex Paddle Holster is a very high quality item of very good value. It is more than fairly priced. I find it to be a better quality holster than some of the higher priced holsters. I certainly recomend this Micheal's item."

Love this holster,
November 18, 2008
By OStateNeil
from TN
|
"I am very impressed with this holster based upon several key factors. 1) the price 2) retention of the firearm 3) comfort while wearing 4) durability of material used and 5) ease of removal by operator if needed.
You get all of the above and then Uncle Mike stands 100% behind their products"

Good, but not quite good enough,
August 6, 2008
By Borch
from Rochester, MN
|
"This holster is a great choice if you want an open top paddle with a great passive retention system (tension screws) and concealment is not your top priority. I've found that this holster prints through all but the heaviest of clothing in almost any position. I've also found that unless you really tighten your belt this holster tends to allow the butt of the weapon flop around. Great for the range, not so great for daily concealment."

"I'm very happy both with the size of this holster, and the conceal ability of it in general. Great holster, I would recommend to any CCW's out there thinking of getting a fairly priced holster with nice action and a low print."

To small for P229,
January 14, 2008
By BRoy
from Jacksonville, NC
|
"When my SIG P229 would not fit in the holster I thought that maybe the screws were to tight. So I losened them until they came out. Then when it still would not fit I thought that maybe I was sent the wrong size so I looked up the code on it and it was the correct size. If I hold the holster apart and put the gun in it you can see that it is made to small for the gun. Besides being to small the holster was fine. If it would fit my gun I think it would be a good holster. Just be careful if you are ordering one and your gun model is at the largest end of the range because it might not fit."

Nice, tight holster (extra tight),
October 23, 2007
By Engineer2001
from Kennesaw, GA
|
"I bought this nice holster for my Glock 21. It fits it very tightly. It fits so tightly, however, that it seems too hard to draw the pistol at times, and it rubs the finish on the sides of my Glock's slide. I doubt the plastic can do much damage to coated tennifer, but I still prefer one a little more loose with a top retention strap. This one has no retention strap at all."
