"I LIVE IN SOUTHEASTERN KENTUCKY AND HUNT GROUSE IN THE MOUNTAINS AND IN THE LAKES REGION. A FRIEND TURNED ME ON TO SHELL BELTS A COUPLE OF SEASONS AGO. IT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE WEIGHT OF THE SHELLS WHEN YOU DISTRIBUTE THEM AROUND YOUR WAIST INSTEAD OF YOUR VEST POCKETS. ON ONE OF OUR TRIPS TO THE LAKE REGION THIS YEAR I LOST MY SHELL BELT, WHICH DID NOT COME FROM CABELA'S. WE STOPPED AT A CABELA'S STORE ON THE WAY HOME AND I PURCHASED ONE OF CABELA'S 12 GAUGE SHELL BELTS. I THOROUGHLY ENJOY THIS SHELL BELT WHICH IS A GOOD QUALITY BELT. THE SHELLS SLIDE OUT OF THE LOOPS WITH ENOUGH EASE FOR QUICK RELOADS BUT ARE NOT LOOSE ENOUGH TO COME OUT WHILE YOU ARE HUNTING. THE ONLY REASON THAT I DID NOT GIVE IT A 5 STAR RATING IS THE THICKNESS OF THE ACTUAL BELT. I WISH IT WAS JUST A LITTLE BIT THICKER."

"I like this shell belt. It is what it seems to be: a durable leather shell belt. I use it for upland hunting. It does a great job dispersing the weight of the shells yet keeping them accessable for reloading. I wear the belt on my hip over my other belt and it stays put. The shells are not hard to get out of the loops, but they stay in when they are supposed to. Also the leather will not dry rot and stretch out like the elastic shell holders (if you take care of the leather).
All in all a great purchase!"

"used this well priced gem in my last CAS shoot,could not have been more pleased! rich colored leather finish goes good with most rigs,shells come out easy even with the new leather and loops being stiff. had read reviews about the buckle being kinda cheaply made,but mine is very sturdy,so the manu. must have fixed that problem. i would, and have recomended this shell belt to others,you cant beat the price or the quality. fact is,ive seen worse quality for a LOT more price,"

"The shotgun belt is a great product. Deep color on good leather product. Sizes are a bit small, my recommendation is to order the next size up from what you think you need. I have a 36 inch waist and the large is in the last second to last notch when worn above the belt and over a flannel shirt. Would really be a pain to have to wear over a jacket. No worries, it never gets that cold in South Georgia. The buckle is of a less than Cabela's quality. Almost like it is made of pewter (real thin and flemsy). I just took an old belt and robbed the buckle from it. The snaps don't match but it sure holds great now, with confidence. Holds twenty five shells securely. Shells are easy to grab and load when doing time trials for skeet. Great product all in all."

"A must have accessory for the dove hunter!
Absolutely the best way to carry extra 12 gauge shells into the field. Wear this belt around the waist or just sling it over your shoulder for fast,easy access to 25 rounds of your favorite 12 gauge ammo. You won't even notice them.
Strong stitching in this sturdy all leather belt should provide a lifetime of use with a minimum of care. The leather shell loops retain shells tightly. They wont fall out, but are easily removed for a quick reload when the birds are coming in thick and fast.
You know what I mean if you have ever tried to fish shells out of the bottom of your pocket or shell bag in a hurry while sitting or crouching down in your favorite dove field. Nobody likes a bulging pocketfull of shells on a hot September day. No boxes to carry into and out of the field, leaves your hands free to carry other equipment and your shells are with you if you decide to change your location.
