"I have the "magnum" belt model. The leather belt is very well made and the leather is strong, yet flexible, so it's comfortable to wear. I'm planning an African hunting trip where I'll be using two rifles. I filled seven of the loops with .375 Ruger cartridges, and seven with .270 WSM (I left one empty in the middle). Originally, both cartridges were tight fits, but after I left the cartridges in for a few weeks and periodically worked the cartridges in and out, the loops stretched to fit and now hold and release just fine. Note: once the loops are stretched to large, fat cartridges I'm not sure the leather would "shrink" back down in size--something to think about if you want one cartridge belt for multiple rifles.
The Cabela's written description states the standard leather belt holds cartridges "up to .30-06" (meaning not including). The "magnum" model is designed for .30-06 and above cartridges--.30-06 rounds fit the magnum model perfectly."

"This Leather Cartridge Belt is very well made and will surely last for years. The only thing, that should eventually be fine, is that the cartridges fit extremely tight. They are hard to put into place and even harder to take out. I'm sure once the leather breaks-in they will fit just right."

"The Cabela's Magnum Rifle 15-Cartridge Belt is a no nonsense design that allows you readily available access to additional ammunition when required. Each round is held firmly in place by loops made of the same fine quality leather that the belts is constructed. and the belt buckle is a sufficient size for comfort and easy removal. The loops should be broken in as they hold them very firmly. Although I attempt never to shoot more than is absolutely necessary, you do have the added security of having extra fire power at your finger tips whether your on the plains of Africa or the high country in California this is a good quality accesory that will keep those necessary shells at your disposal."
